JAZ Neo Sharks Bay

We arrived at the Jaz Neo after a short transfer from the airport and were quickly checked in and shown to our room, which was clean and ample. The hotel is small and was only at half capacity which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, were always chatty and smiling. The food was varied in the restaurant and the food at the pool bar was great. The entertainment team were friendly but not pushy. Great stay.

It was a great stay in this hotel, the staff is super friendly, Mina and Ahmed from the front desk can always provide the things we need. And the “towel art” by Ahmed from house keeping is definitely a lovely surprise. Beach is 10 minutes away by shuttle bus: This is a bit inconvenient, but it also makes the hotel very quiet and peaceful.

We loved this very clean and friendly hotel! Staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable, food amazing including freshly made pool bar snacks.

Hotel is in desperate need to be brought to 21st century because no adjustments have been made since the time it was built. 3 storey building and there are no lifts. Bar is on upper floor which goes through a very precarious spiral stairwell. Anyone getting a bit tipsy can fall and break their neck. The uneven terrace and cracked tiles make it a hazard to walk especially at night. Mattresses on beds are springy and particularly hard and bathroom/toilet in rooms are the size of a cupboard. Hotel is right underneath Airport flight path and if you don't sleep well or you have children the western side and top floor rooms must be avoided. On the other hand, the staff are wonderful throughout, helpful and very friendly too, with exception of the bar staff who if your not a young woman on a bikini don't particularly like approaching other guests. Even at the bar woman always are served first no matter if you been standing and waiting to be served for a while. When you give them tips today, unless you do the same again they forget you exist the next day. The massage organisers are very difficult to shake off, and unless you agree to something many times a day they will come and bother you. Same with on sight barber. They try to lure you in to go every day. How many times someone has their hair cut in a week? Hotel shares a beach with 2 other hotels and finding sunbeds at the beach is very hard. Food at the Restaurant is world class. They have barbecue every night and no repetitive food. Reception staff are very attentive and will find a way to resolve any issues one might have.
