Meraki Sharm El Sheikh

Just returned from 8 nights at Meraki - a wonderful break and just what was needed. The location is close to the airport (no issues from noise) and on Tal Avenue which comes to life at night. Atmosphere - can be what you want - we wanted to relax and not be bothered and were left to get in with that with excellent waiters and bar staff. The pool was lovely and played relaxing music - loungers went quickly so we did go down early to reserve. Then we staff gave us boxes with chilled drinks and came round regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Our rooms were great and kept clean with lovely bedding. The main restaurant the muncherery was excellent - all food was freshly prepared and served by excellent waiters. It was our favourite as it was so friendly, had themed nights and a lovely selection at all times of the day. We tried mumm restaurant twice - the food was excellent but we never seemed to get what we had ordered as they gave us big plates with all the food on to share which was ok but not really what we wanted. We tried the Italian restaurant - food great - service not so. The Greek restaurant we went to at lunch once - the music was so so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves speak and the service not brilliant so didn’t bother again. Burger restaurant lovely food but no atmosphere. So we tended to eat at the main restaurant as it was exceptional. There is definitely a young / clubby vibe but we didn’t mind that and the music stopped at 11 so didn’t worry us at all. The bar in the reception area had the most amazing staff - so friendly and remembered what drinks you liked. They were so good. Thought there was more of a beach but easy to get into the sea and snorkel. Plenty of loungers if you wanted to stay down there. Went on two trips - one to the town and another to the dessert and to be honest wish we hadn’t bothered. Not as described and time wasted when I could have been on a lounger round the pool. The hotel was for us just what we needed. Fantastic service, food, staff, rooms. Highly recommended.

Just got back from a weeks stay at the Meraki, after a friend recommending the hotel to us I'm so glad they did! We had the most amazing time, for once I have no negative to say about a hotel/ holiday. The hotel itself/ rooms were clean and spacious. All the inmenaties were great. The staff couldn't do enough for you, in all the restaurants and round the pool/ bars were lovely and so attentive. The entertainment team were amazing every day there was new events on during all parts of the day. We can't wait to go back next time!!

My friend and I had a fabulous time at this hotel. We had debated whether to go for a jacuzzi suite and it was definitely good that we did. It grant d access to a private restaurant and bar with serenity pool. We were there the week of the 20th February and Mohamed and Hamdi were fabulous for customer service in Euphoria. I feel the review below must be talking about a different place as this hotel as lots of variety with several al a carte restaurants with extensive menus in the all inclusive. Their is also themed nights with the menu at Mumcheery. Their entertainment is good but what was on the notice board dint always match with what was actually on - this included for activities such as stretching etc. The big shows they have on Tal Avenue and festival food is fantastic so I’m convinced the other reviewer has made a mix up with their hotels. The snorkelling right at the end of the Pier is impressive. The staff are great and management come round regularly checking how your stay is. If there is something that could be improved tell them they’ll fix it.

To be fair, like any place, there are both advantages and disadvantages. Let me start with the positives. The hotel’s location is very good, and the staff try to be helpful as much as they can. However, it seems they may need more resources to improve the service. Regarding the restaurant, the food selection does not change much and is almost the same every day. In addition, there is no nightlife or evening entertainment. As for the room, there was an unpleasant smell at first, and although it was eventually changed, it took quite a long time to resolve the issue.

Rooms gypster pool view room lovely comfy beds comfy pillows good night sleep Cleaner has kept room spotless Pool area clean and 5 star service towels and waiter service The food is lovely n fresh breakfast is bit of buffet pastries cereal and toast n fruit . But u order eggs n omelettes etc from waiter All the food we have eaten as been fresh and lovely . Yardes for lunch was our favourite Mumm Lebanese was another of our fave too The muncherry was great too We tried the bassilico it was ok The snorkelling from the pier we saw rays puffer fish napoleon fish so many fish it was good u don’t need to go on boat trips to see fish The hotel is immaculate we loved the gardens and plants , the gardeners must work so hard as do the guys sweeping cleaning and maintaining the grounds and hotel . All the staff deliver a 5 star service towels. The animation team keep those who want to be entertained . The hotel has a party vibe our only gripe is loud music can go onto quite late . But we slept well after bring some earplugs or drink more vino ! You can walk into soho square Would we come back here again for winter sun absolutely 💯
