Pickalbatros Royal Grand Resort Sharm El Sheikh

I spent one week and had a wonderful time. Thanks to reception staff especially the manager Mohammed who fulfilled my request of a sea view room. All my friends also had upgrades to sea view rooms. The staff in the restaurant made my birthday special The cleaners were very good. The spa was lovely with 6 Egyptian massages I felt very safe and well looked after thanks to the hotel and the staff.

We were treated like royalty Mohammed in the buffet restaurant went above and beyond .making my 75th birthday extra special. All the staff in there were excellent . A lot of young people and eastern block People .were there Very few English really a great hotel but wouldn't recommend For pensioners .

I really like the hotel Royal Grand Sharm. I have been there a lot of times, and I will keep coming. All of the staff are so kind and I feel so welcome everytime I'm there.

On arrival we were disappointed at how run down the room was. We was told no point changing as all rooms are same standard. We decided to stay and adjusted to the standard. It was a good size. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout. The staff were all amazing especially the waiters, bar staff and our room cleaner. The young chef doing the bbq was so kind and friendly. No prosseco AT ALL in the hotel. Wine not available in any of 3 pool bars. Had to go up 6 floors to get some. Upon arrival we was given no information about how the hotel operates especially about the restaurants. Nothing said about trips etc. Food was ok in main buffet. It was very good in the one restaurant that you book (which we only found out about from a couple around the pool). The beach is not a proper beach, it is man-made. The minibar in the room is just water. The hotel is quite remote. Entertainment seemed good but the noise!! Really too loud sometimes around the pool and in the evenings.

Great “all inclusive” type holiday hotel/resort. The staff are incredible - a huge asset. Special mention to Executive Chef Abdul who was very attentive and helpful. We liked the spacious room with an east facing sea view. We were located near the heated outdoor pool which was generally very quiet. All areas of the hotel and gardens were immaculate. Travelled with my adult daughter who enjoyed a very restful / restorative week. Our only issue would be lack of any food allergen labelling and provision of vegan foods on the buffets and à la carte menu.
