We stayed for 7 nights at the end of May with 3 rooms - party of 6 adults and 3 children. First impressions weren’t amazing like we would have expected, we arrived late and the reception desk only had 1 person working. We went to our rooms and even though we booked for a child in each room none of the sofa beds were made up so at 1am we had to request that with very tired children which we would have made up ourselves but no bedding was in the room. Also variations in what was in each room, no robes in some, slippers in another etc. Woke up the next day and the team at the blue planet breakfast outside were fabulous. One person in particular who was very attentive throughout our stay was Abdelmonem. We dinned at the Italian, Turkish, beach bbq, sushi, Mexican and steak - all of which were amazing in their own way - both food and service were exceptional. The Turkish was our favorite with stunning interior. We have stayed at other 5* resorts where child friendly dinning was more of a thing - I would have liked to have had maybe colouring in for children or perhaps entertainment in these perhaps. We did encounter a few issues - 3 pools were closed at some points due to unsafe water, but was quickly advised but it did mean one afternoon there was no pool close by to use. Our room was cleaned by Ahmed at blue planet. We stayed on level 2. He was great and always left our room in great condition, with 2 days having towel animals which the children loved. The lifeguards are amazing especially Magdy who helped with bed set ups and blowing up pool toys. They do an amazing job - especially with other guests who were often rude and ignored their direction. We did see 2 babies however who were both without swim nappies! That may explain the closures of pools. The real highlight of our holiday was Rixy, our kids loved it especially our 7 year old who was obsessed with Antonios who was so attentive and really made sure the kids were safe and having fun. My boy has asked non stop to go back there just to see Antonios! We did the gondolas one night which were amazing and staff were great. The grounds are stunning! So well maintained. Some points where the hotel could be better - often certain cocktails weren’t available, the booking system required at rixy meant you had to go there and couldn’t what’s app or phone, the pool beds were often broken and so were umbrellas - not really what we would expect at a 5* resort, the transport throughout the resort was a free for all and other guests were rude often and jumped in front of waiting guests who had been waiting patiently. There could be a better queuing system. The entertainment was ok but our local arena was closed for some reason, so we only went to beach side 2 nights for this. Given the improvements we would return and have already started looking to return soon.
Everything was exactly what we were thinking. We like the service and food. Everyone is gentle and helpful

We recently stayed at Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh for a family holiday with our two young children (a 3-year-old toddler and an 8-month-old baby). Having previously stayed at Rixos Premium Magawish in Hurghada and having had such an exceptional experience, we booked Rixos Radamis with very high expectations. Arrival & Check-In The check-in process was excellent. We arrived on a late-night flight, and with two tired children, we were grateful for how smooth and efficient everything was. The team checked us in quickly, transported us to our room via buggy, and ensured everything was ready for us upon arrival. The room itself was fantastic, spacious, clean, well-stocked with drinks and snacks, and equipped with a large balcony. A cot had already been provided for our baby, and a member of staff arrived promptly to set up the pull-out bed for our toddler. The entire arrival experience was seamless and set a positive tone for the holiday. À La Carte Restaurant Booking Issues One of the main reasons we chose another Rixos property was because of the outstanding à la carte dining experience we enjoyed previously. Unfortunately, this became our biggest frustration early in the holiday. Upon accessing the booking portal, the vast majority of restaurants were already fully booked, with availability on only two days during our entire seven-night stay. Several restaurants we specifically wanted to try had no availability whatsoever. I initially spoke with Guest Relations and was simply told that everything was fully booked. However, after speaking with other guests, it became clear that many people were experiencing the same issue. It was difficult to understand how guests staying for a full week could have virtually no access to one of the resort’s key selling points. Thankfully, a Guest Relations team member (I believe her name was Aya) handled the situation exceptionally well. She listened, understood our frustration, and genuinely wanted to help. As it was also our wedding anniversary during the stay, she arranged reservations for three à la carte restaurants. This completely changed the situation for us, and her professionalism, empathy and willingness to help deserve special recognition. Food & Restaurant Service The food throughout the resort was exceptional. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, or the à la carte restaurants, the quality was consistently high. There was plenty of variety, and we genuinely enjoyed trying something different every day. The chefs across the resort deserve great credit, as do the restaurant teams. The service was attentive, friendly, and family-focused. Staff regularly interacted with our children and made them feel welcome throughout the holiday. A special mention must go to Mangal Restaurant, which was easily our favourite dining experience. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was excellent, and both the chef and serving staff went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. If you’re staying at any Rixos property and Mangal is available, make sure you book it. You will not be disappointed. Pool & Beach Experience We stayed on the beachside section of the resort and spent most of our time around the pool opposite the Anjana Spa. The pool facilities were excellent, with plenty of sunbeds available. Staff consistently helped with towels, setting up loungers, and anything else we needed. The pool bar team were particularly impressive. They regularly came over to check on us, prepared excellent drinks, and even brought snacks for our daughter. Their service was genuinely one of the highlights of our stay. The beach team were equally attentive and looked after us very well throughout the holiday. Room Cleaning Concerns The main negative aspect of our stay was our experience with room servicing. The first day was absolutely fine, and I left a small tip as a gesture of appreciation. However, over the following days, I began to feel uncomfortable with how often our room attendant would linger outside our room after cleaning. When we returned to the room, he would often be waiting nearby. Even after confirming that everything was fine, he would remain around the area. On two separate occasions, despite having the “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed, he rang the doorbell. While this may not have been intentional, it felt intrusive and made my family uncomfortable at times. More concerning, however, was an issue relating to the bathroom towels. We followed the hotel’s guidance and left used towels on the bathroom floor to indicate that we wanted fresh replacements. One particular towel had been used after bathing our daughter, who had a small cut, which left a noticeable blood mark on the towel. We deliberately left it on the floor with the other used towels so it would be replaced during servicing. When we returned to the room after it had been cleaned, we were surprised to find what appeared to be the exact same towel folded and placed back in the clean towel area. The blood mark was still present in the exact same location, making it clear that the towel had not been replaced. As parents travelling with a toddler and an infant, this was extremely disappointing and raised concerns regarding housekeeping standards and hygiene. This was probably the most upsetting aspect of our stay and is something I believe management should investigate and address urgently. Slow Response to Requests Another frustrating experience involved a simple request for an iron. It took approximately one hour for the first iron to arrive, only for it to be faulty. After calling again, it took another hour for a replacement to be delivered. A two-hour wait for a basic room request is not what I would expect from a luxury resort, especially when travelling with young children. Rixy Kids Club The facilities and activities themselves were good, and we appreciate that the resort welcomes guests from all over the world. However, queue management was poor at times. We repeatedly saw children who had been waiting patiently being pushed aside by others who simply moved to the front. Staff did not seem to intervene consistently. What was particularly disappointing was that interactions often felt different depending on whether communication was in English or Arabic. As someone who speaks both languages, I noticed a clear difference in engagement. Only when I spoke Arabic did I feel that some staff were willing to give me their full attention. All guests should feel equally valued regardless of the language they speak. Checkout Experience Our final impression of the hotel unfortunately wasn’t a positive one. The checkout process felt rushed and impersonal. The staff member simply asked for the room number and key card without making eye contact, asking how our stay had been, or requesting any feedback. Perhaps it was an off day, but it certainly wasn’t the level of hospitality I would expect from a Rixos property and left a slightly disappointing final impression. Overall Thoughts Despite the frustrations, we did enjoy our holiday. The food was excellent, many members of staff were outstanding, the facilities were impressive, and our children had a wonderful time. However, there are several operational areas that require improvement, particularly restaurant availability, housekeeping standards, response times to guest requests, consistency of service standards, queue management within the kids’ club, and the checkout experience. Interestingly, one staff member even mentioned that we should have booked Rixos Premium Seagate instead, as Radamis was “not yet at the same level.” While I cannot comment on that comparison personally, it perhaps explains some of the inconsistencies we experienced. Would I return? Probably not. Did I enjoy my stay? Yes. Would I recommend it? With some reservations. Overall Rating: 7/10
