Rixos Sharm El Sheikh

With a heavy heart our last day. Once again we have been treated like family in the Rixos. From the moment we arrived on 22nd July until now. Nothing but 5 stars 💥💥💥💥💥 Check in swift. Room spotless every day room 3139 young Karim. Room decorated n always pleasant after a day in the sun. The food. Never fails. From palm for breakfast , salt or palm for lunch. Or youseff at oasis. All quality. In the evening the à la carte never fails. This year we managed a few. Our favourite this time the Brazilian Shimaa and her staff make sure you leave happy with the most special grilled meats and the grilled pineapple. 🍍 Mohamed my friend for years oversees the food in all restaraunts and he’s No 1. The quality is soo good in all the eating places !!! The new beach bar. Wow !!! The pool boys wow. The life guards very attentive to detail. The bar staff working in extreme heat professional. The buggy drivers Ali baba Romeo Alladin Nega And the others not sure of names But all brilliant. Mr Hassan the General manager. À man you can approach and speak with. Enjoys his breakfast in palm. Amongst guests. And not too shy in giving guests a drive to restaraunt. Buckle up it’s the Belek Grand Prix. I have loved my vacation and it’s all because of Team Rixos. Sherry and Joe Room 3139. Couldn't fault a thing. Excellent, large, clean, air-con rooms with fridge. Lots of pools (one designated quiet) some noisy with water sports but room for all. Plenty of sun beds, towels, drinks & lollies delivered to sun beds. Excellent, plentiful buffet, huge variety, staff friendly, buggy taxis to take you around, no tips expected, highly recommend. My only issue was that the Malibu and Bacardi was poured from the right bottle but did not taste the same. 'Local drinks' appeared to have no alcohol which I understand their culture doesn't approve of but would be nice to have the option to purchase a proper drink now and again. As we were scuba diving it didn't effect us too much but the cocktails were limited to mainly vodka and gin. A normal hairdryer per room rather than bathroom wall one would be appreciated too. Definitely a great place, beautifully well landscaped, looked after, great staff, shout out to cleaner Ahmed Hardy and Mohammed and all the cart drivers who made us laugh with their take on English rhyming slang! They made a huge effort to accommodate those wishing to see the World Cup in the early hours and couldn't have been more attentive. Snorkelling at hotel was fab (vests and lifeguard) but cant really swim at beach. 10mins from airport but 20 from Sharm town so not much to do except sun bath.

This was our 5th visit to this fantastic resort and this trip did not disappoint. The friendliness of all the staff is a credit to this hotel. As a repeat guest many staff members recognised us making our stay even more pleasurable. As usual the food was amazing. We love all the à la cartes with the Turkish and Indian being our favourites. A special mention to chef Yogesh who always checked on us to ensure everything was fine. He’s a great guy. Also Abdullah at the beach bar who always had our drinks ready. Aklam at Salt - her face lights up every time we return. Ali round the pool, Michelle in the lobby bar and Hany in the Brazilian. To be honest there are too many fantastic people to name! There was some building work going on but this caused no disruption and we can’t wait to try the new restaurant when it’s built. Hopefully this will be ready for when we return in October. If you haven’t tried this hotel you are missing out!

Just enjoyed our 3rd stay, this time on the ground floor, which we thought was great, especially when climbing the stairs in the heat can seem a chore! The food is exceptional at all restaurants, we particularly love the Mangal and Italian. You also can’t fault the service in the restaurants and around the hotel. Irfan (I think that was how he spells his name) was brilliant in the Italian restaurant and made sure that we were having a great time every time. I was also kept hydrated everyday by Mohammed Ali at the pool bar who knew my order by heart and was given coffee every morning! Very happy me! The only disappointment this time for us was that there was a lack of little touches in the room each day. Usually we have a little towel art or something as a nice touch but that lacked this year. There was also an issue of the cleaner stating that he had decorated our room for my husbands 40th (which was not done) however speaking to guest relations that day about it, they were superb and got this sorted whilst we were out at dinner, much to my husbands delight! Having said that the cleaning was good and can’t say that we had an unclean room as it was always kept clean and tidy. We will be back for a forth visit 😀

Excellent visit to the Rixos Adults Only. Food, drinks, staff and cleanliness was impeccable. Animation and entertainment was excellent, Muhammed Elsayed and Ziyad were superb in terms of entertaining guests throughout the stay. Not only was their entertainment great through the day but also on an evening it never stopped. Always making an effort with guests. Hopefully see you again soon Rixos.
