TUI BLUE Sensatori Coral Sea

We have recently returned from a 7 night stay here, we stayed in an adults only swim up room - which we would 100% recommend. The hotel was beautiful & very modern. The staff were very attentive, we also got drink service directly to our swim up room - shout out to Syed. Our room was cleaned daily with our mini bar topped up & we got fresh pool towels daily, delivered to our room by our cleaner Mohammed. Amazing choice of Al a cadre restaurants - we done the Teppanyaki which was only an extra $40 for the 2 of us - well worth it! My wife is currently pregnant & the staff were very accommodating & always made a fuss. We used Tony Tours (on Facebook) to do a city tour into Sharm which was nice to see some of the local culture. The only negative we could find - was the entertainment, it wasn’t the best compared to other places we have visited. Saying that, we wouldn’t let it put us off & we are planning a return visit here.

This was a return visit after 10 years or so and it did not disappoint.Everything about this hotel is amazing, the food in all of the resteraunts is very good indeed with our fave being the Marhaba.The staff work so hard to please everyone , it is quite humbling.The entertainment is very good as well with live performances happening everywhere at most times of the day.The atmosphere is very chilled as well.We had no problem with beds around the pools( no unaccompanied towels before 8 am) or beach areas and the waiter service around the pools was excellent. You have to swim in the Red Sea whilst you are there, it’s so warm and the fish tend to come to you.Overall this hotel is with every penny and we will be returning in October for a chilled getaway.Many thanks to the hotel and all is staff for an unforgettable experience, we tried to find a negative and couldn’t.

I am delayed in writing this review as I lost access to my account and haven’t used TA as much since becoming a Mum some years ago. After the most upsetting & difficult year after caring then losing my Dad, last November we were looking for a holiday we promised him we would all go on. Myself and husband, 2 young teenager girls & my Mum. Something warm, fun, quality and relaxing. We had never been to Egypt before & we are so pleased we chose this hotel. We have been to Sensatori in Rhodes twice & had an expectation. Heres my feelings. When others say the people make this hotel experience… it’s true! We went for 10 nights & although I can’t recall all the names I hope they can work out who they are from my description. We had 2 family rooms sliding doors - main building. We had the most beautiful settings looking out to the main pool and beach. Quiet but close to all the main things. (We did walk around the kids pool but its definitely designed for younger kids and families, as a 45 year old with teens I would have had a totally different experience if our room was based there). The beach - not the softest of sands as expected but the sea is out of this world. The snorkling from the beach even - if you look down near the barrier the kids can see the fish. Off the pontoon….. breathtaking. Honestly… amazing. The beach waiters - awesome. They walk soooooooo much! Keep everything so tidy and the lifeguards will find you a sunlounger even mid morning! The waiters from the beach restaurant looked after us & even helped my Mum find her way back to us when she couldn’t find us one day. The pool waiters & lifeguards- awesome! One pool barman would shout “Mr Ayyyy deeee” after my husband when he knew his name was Ady - I think ihe said Asy meant hand in his language. The buffet restaurant staff need a special shoutout! Two waiters looked after us so well, always drinks, tidied and taught us some key local sayings! Mariz and her colleague (I’m sorry I missed your name) put flowers in my girls hair. Shared tears with me when I was upset one night missing my Dad. The buffet is not a buffet…. Its the most beautiful display and huge range of food you could imagine. Always changing. One night we turned up late just wanting a waffle but they were not on that night. The pastry chef chatted with me & right away another colleague brought some out from the kitchen. Arafa in the restaurant 😝😝 you slways made us smile! Thankyou The fizz hour - I love prosecco. I’ll say no more…. We would grab our seats, listen to live music or the dj and be treated. Take your glass back for top up to save glasses :) The service is top notch. We were asked for feedback one morning, we mentioned we were a little unsure on the wine & the cocktails tasted weak. Within hours the manager “with the glasses” he would tell us to call him, was sat with us asking for feedback. He arranged for my Mum to try all the wines so she could see what suited her. Housekeeping make sure the rooms clean, cool & looked after, making surprises each day from towels. What would make it better? Could the cocktails be less sweet & stronger? Yes…. Could the drink on arrival be a nice glass of bubbles or alternative of orange….. yes and you know what….. I think thats it. Now that says something. So many characters made our holiday! You gave us lightness when we were so sad & tired. You made sure we enjoyed that much needed break. And guess what….. we are coming back! We will see you in June Coral Sea! We hope we get the same rooms or similar, we have emailed to ask (well beg). We hope to see some familiar faces & be looked after all over again.

Just returned from 10 nights at Sensatori Coral Sea resort, honest review on all aspects. As an experienced traveller to Egypt (14 times) but first time in this hotel, Location is good and fairly central to everything using taxi’s Room (4330) in family block even though we are an adult couple, this was no issue at all. Our room was clean and comfortable, well maintained. Beach towels are changed daily in your room each evening so no need for towel cards etc. Absolutely no sign of any insects at all. Room had 2 pin socket as well as UK 3 pin fitted close to mirror for hairdryer etc, no USB sockets, hairdryer in the room isn’t great so probably best to bring your own. Bathroom well set up, very good powerful shower which is great if you have long thick Afro hair! Pool areas are nice, loungers are good, main pool gets really busy but plenty of beds. We saw no sunbed wars or removal of towels when left unattended at meal times. Adult pool area set up lovely, again no issue to get beds even late morning or early afternoon so need to be up at sunrise just to get a bed. Beach area also great, adults section was really well spaced out with plenty choice of shaded area if preferred. Chilled water available in cool boxes on the beach with waiter service for other drinks. IVO beach area is nice for a treat however not much shade at all if you book a casita which costs 90$ and includes breakfast, lunch, plenty of snacks & drinks. 60$ if you book just sunbeds and parasol (shaded tree) although we did it, in our opinion it’s not much different to the adult area on the beach anyway. Jetty is a floating style, an absolute must for snorkellers, so many beautiful fish to be seen including blue spotted ray ! (be careful they can sting and they are in very shallow water right at the edge) We found the best time to see marine life was around 15.30 - 16.00 Food is excellent, one of us very fussy eater but loved everything, particularly breakfast, shout out to the poached egg man! Every single morning, perfect eggs cooked to your personal choice of soft, medium or hard. Lots of options at all meal times for all tastes including little ones if you have them. No problems getting seated at any time of the day. We only tried the Italian Casa Bianca and the food was again very good. Entertainment we can’t comment too much because didn’t get involved in the daytime program at all, evening really wasn’t great so didn’t hang around too long, the lounge bar is really cold so girls bring something to cover your shoulders or even better sit outside. Fizz hour was fab, as much prosecco as you like for one hour only served from 18.30 - 19.30 and the timings are exact on this, nice to see guests making an effort and dressing up for this hour. We found it to be a little too early but that’s a personal thing. Standards and staff, the standards are excellent throughout the whole hotel, staff are pleasant and work hard, we found they are not as super friendly as other hotels and places in Egypt but nobody is rude. We did however find the animation team interacted only with who they wanted to and this did seem to be the same with any of the managers. All in all, a fantastic hotel, we would definitely go again!

Just back from 2 weeks at the Egypt Sensatori (having been to many others to compare). What we liked... * Friendly staff - particularly the waiters, pool attendants, bar staff, and our cleaner. * Nice beach, comfy sunbeds, plenty of pools, gardeners do a great job. * Drinks - on the whole were good ( particularly the iced coffees and cocktails ). * Good food on the whole in the buffet - not great, but good. We always found something. Pasta guy was ace ( i went to him 6 times at least ). Plenty of breakfast options. Nice fresh orange juice. * Fizz hour is a nice way to get everyone together in the evening. * The local jetty/snorkeling is great. * The onsite shopkeepers were friendly (on the whole) and had a good variety of goods. Improvements... * Evening Entertainment was the worst we have experienced - not Sensatori level. The resident male singer/guitarist in the piano bar shouting songs EVERY NIGHT at extremely high volume was painful. We had to sit outside and far away ( and still heard him ). Would much prefer a piano bar to be relaxed (e.g. the sax lady was great but was rarely on). 5 nights of Tina Turner/Dolly Parton impersonators ( way too loud again mr sound man ). * A couple of times i sat ( in the coffee shop, or adult pool bar) to relax out of the sun for 15 mins with a coffee, and had to endure the staff loudly arguing with each other. * Crepes/Waffles/Cakes in the afternoon would be good. Seemed like little available to eat between lunch (1pm ish for us) and dinner (7pm+). * Pizzas ( at the buffet, food station, and in the Italian ) were all awful. Limp, tasteless, and thick layer of solid cheese. Get a real Italian pizza chef over for a lesson.
