TUI BLUE Sensatori Coral Sea

We had a fantastic holiday overall and would definitely recommend the hotel. There were a few small frustrations during our stay, but these were massively outweighed by the positives and the genuinely lovely staff. We arrived just after midnight following a long day of travelling. We had been told that food would be available for late arrivals, which was great, although we were a little disappointed to find that this didn’t actually start until around 12:30am. By that point, we just wanted something to eat! We ended up going to our room, unpacking and then coming back down for food. Not a major issue, but something that could perhaps be better coordinated for guests arriving late at night. Room Our room itself was absolutely wonderful. The air conditioning was brilliant and very much appreciated given the temperatures at this time of year, and we had everything we needed in terms of amenities. The only recurring frustration was the key cards. Ours stopped working constantly and we had to have them replaced or reactivated at least once every day, sometimes more. From speaking to other guests, this definitely wasn’t unique to us. The staff were always friendly and helpful when sorting them, but having to repeatedly go back to reception did become frustrating. Pools We spent most of our time around the adults’ pool, which was fantastic. It was incredibly peaceful – genuinely almost silent at times – and perfect if you want to properly relax. There were plenty of attentive waiters around offering drinks without being intrusive. We also spent a day around the main family pool, which naturally had a completely different atmosphere. There was music playing, more going on and obviously more noise from families and children, but it was still enjoyable. We didn’t use the separate children’s/water park area, so can’t really comment on that. Food & restaurants We visited the three included speciality restaurants – American, Egyptian and Italian – and thoroughly enjoyed all three. One of us is vegan, and this is probably where the staff deserve particular credit. While there wasn’t always a huge vegan selection readily available, the chefs were fantastic. If the existing options were limited, they were happy to adapt dishes or prepare something separately. As a meat eater, I personally had absolutely no issues whatsoever and really enjoyed the food throughout the holiday. The main buffet was probably the area where being vegan was slightly more difficult. Some of the labelling wasn’t completely clear or consistent, which occasionally made it difficult to know whether something was genuinely vegan. Improving the allergen/dietary labelling would make a big difference. Evening entertainment The evening entertainment was probably one of the weaker areas for us. It could feel quite similar from night to night, with a saxophonist in the Piano Bar, some flying/acrobatic acts and performances from the hotel’s entertainment team. The main entertainment venue appeared to be used heavily for children’s entertainment earlier in the evening, which we didn’t attend, so can’t comment on that side of things. There were, however, some really enjoyable tribute acts. We saw both a Lady Gaga tribute and a Taylor Swift tribute, and both were very good. One thing the hotel has is a beautiful beachfront area, and it feels like there is a real opportunity to do more with it in the evenings. They already operate a beach cinema, but the beach is large enough that a small evening bar area with beanbags or relaxed seating would be fantastic. It would give adults another option in the evening and create a completely different atmosphere from the existing entertainment areas. Special mention – Mahmoud in the gym Mahmoud deserves his own section because he was genuinely one of the standout members of staff during our holiday. Most people probably don’t go on holiday planning to spend much time in the gym – but we did! The gym itself is a reasonable size and has enough equipment to get a good workout in. If you’re looking to do extremely heavy lifting or replicate a fully equipped commercial gym, you’ll probably find it limited. However, for keeping up your training, getting a decent session in or simply trying something different while you’re away, it’s absolutely fine. What really made it for us, though, was Mahmoud. From the first time we met him, he was incredibly welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly worked out what we were trying to achieve and, where particular equipment was limited, he would suggest alternative exercises or different ways of using the equipment available to achieve the same training effect. At times it genuinely felt like my partner and I were getting our own complimentary PT session! What impressed us most was that it never felt forced. Mahmoud is clearly very well versed in what he does, but he’s also incredibly personable. He’d chat with us, remember what we were working on and make both of us feel completely comfortable in the gym. An absolute legend and genuinely a credit to the hotel. We couldn’t fault him. Bars, drinks & Theas Bar service was generally very good, although the cocktails could vary quite significantly depending on which of the bars made them. One thing we quickly discovered was that the measures are VERY generous! Halfway through the holiday we actually started asking for half measures because some of the drinks were incredibly strong. For anyone managing their sugar intake, particularly diabetics, it’s also worth being aware that some of the local spirits and mixers may be different from what you’re used to at home, so it’s worth checking rather than assuming. Another place that deserves a mention is Theas, the little café down by the beachfront. If you’re overheating, go here! The air conditioning is absolutely ice cold and was amazing after being out in the Egyptian heat. The staff were always incredibly friendly, they made some brilliant iced coffees, and you can also grab drinks and snacks there. It became a really nice little place to escape the heat for a while. Departure / late checkout Finally, if you have a late flight home, I would definitely recommend considering the late checkout option. Our flight wasn’t until after midnight, so we paid to keep our room until 6pm. It meant we could enjoy almost another full day, have our final meals, shower and get ready properly before leaving for the airport rather than effectively losing the last day of the holiday. Overall We had a genuinely fantastic holiday. There are a few areas that could be improved – particularly the key-card system, clearer vegan labelling and a little more variety in the evening entertainment – but none of these would stop us recommending the hotel. The rooms were excellent, the adults’ pool was incredibly relaxing, food was very good and we encountered some genuinely brilliant members of staff. And if you do visit the gym, make sure you say hello to Mahmoud. He absolutely deserves the recognition – knowledgeable, welcoming, funny, friendly and a genuine credit to the resort.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the TUI Sensatori Coral Sea Hotel. I was there for a working holiday and was lucky enough to have my family come along with me, which made the whole experience even more special. The food was amazing, with plenty of choice and something for everyone, and the staff throughout the hotel were fantastic—friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. A very special mention must go to Mahmood in the gym. He was absolutely fantastic and really went above and beyond. His knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm for fitness were clear from the start. The gym itself was excellent, but Mahmood made the experience even better with his fantastic advice and personalised PT sessions. I would highly recommend booking a session with Mahmood if you’re staying at the hotel. Whether you’re experienced in the gym or just looking for some guidance and motivation, he takes the time to understand what you want to achieve and gives really useful, practical advice. His PT sessions were challenging but enjoyable, and I came away feeling motivated and more confident with my training. Mahmood is a real credit to the hotel and an absolute asset to the gym. If you’re staying at the Coral Sea, make sure you take the opportunity to meet him and book a PT session—you won’t regret it! Overall, we had an outstanding experience and would definitely recommend the TUI Sensatori Coral Sea Hotel. We had a brilliant holiday and would happily return again.

We’ve just returned from an amazing two weeks in Egypt and honestly had such a brilliant experience at the hotel. From start to finish, we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel itself was lovely, with great surroundings, a relaxed atmosphere, plenty to do and good food, but what really made the holiday for us was the people working there. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. A huge shout-out has to go to the entertainment team, especially Mackenzie, Ruby and Sam. They brought such good energy to the hotel and were always friendly, approachable and up for a laugh. They made a genuine effort to get to know people rather than simply going through the motions, and they were a massive part of creating the fun and relaxed atmosphere we enjoyed throughout the two weeks. You could tell they genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time. However, I also have to give a very special mention to Mo Shokry, the gym supervisor and personal trainer, because this absolute legend genuinely became one of the highlights of our holiday! I train regularly at home and went away expecting to simply maintain a little fitness while enjoying the holiday. Mo had other ideas! 😂 Over the two weeks we trained together numerous times, working through chest, back, arms and legs with plenty of cable work thrown in. Every session was different and challenging, and Mo completely changed the way I approached some of my training. His knowledge and experience are obvious, but what impressed me most was how much attention he paid to the person he was training. He watched my technique, corrected things where necessary, explained what he wanted from each exercise and knew exactly when to increase the intensity. There were even mornings when I’d already been out running and I’d get a message from Mo basically saying, “Come on bro, one last session!” Somehow I’d end up back in the gym again! 😂 What really makes Mo special, though, isn’t just his ability as a trainer. He’s an absolutely lovely guy — friendly, funny, encouraging and completely without ego. He genuinely cares about the people he trains. Very quickly he went from being “the PT at the hotel” to someone I looked forward to seeing every day, and by the end of the holiday he genuinely felt more like a mate. We made sure we got a photo together before leaving because he had become such a memorable part of our time there. I’ve actually come home with new exercises and ideas that I’m incorporating into my own training. I enjoyed Mo’s cable workouts so much that I’ve even installed a cable system in my home gym since getting back! If that isn’t an endorsement of his coaching, I don’t know what is! 😂💪 Overall, we had a fantastic two weeks and would happily return. The hotel was great, the staff were brilliant, Mackenzie, Ruby and Sam helped make the days and evenings so much fun, and Mo made the gym and training side of the holiday something I’ll genuinely remember. Hotels can have beautiful surroundings, great facilities and good food, but ultimately it’s the people who turn a good holiday into one you’ll talk about long after you get home. This team absolutely did that for us. Thank you to everyone for an incredible two weeks — and to Mo, absolute legend. Thanks for everything, bro! 💪🇪🇬 Five stars without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This will be our 3rd stay at the beautiful hotel, our stay has been fantastic and made even better by the staff who work so hard to make your holiday special! We have enjoyed our lunch in the Tiran every day- The guys, especially Mohamad who has known our family every visit has been amazing and going the extra mile! Sameh, who works in the restaurant has also known our family for the past 3 years and has served us for breakfast every morning- he really goes above and beyond for our family! We had some amazing food in casa Bianca and marhaba and the staff were absolutely brilliant! It’s nice to seen familiar faces from previous visits who are still amazing waiters and always smiling and give too service! Our favourite person at this hotel has to be Mansy! He brings us drinks in our swim up room with the biggest smile! and nothing is too much trouble for him! He has looked after us all holiday and on previous visits and he definitely goes above and beyond for my family and has made our family holiday so special! All the gardeners and cleansers deserve praise too- this hotel is spotless and all the staff work so hard in making it stay clean! The only downside I found with my room is that it was in 2206 and could be quite noisy at night with sound and music travelling- it’s a lovely room just a bit of a noisy location for me! We hope to return for a 4th visit!
