Xperience St. Georges Homestay

Just come back from my first visit and already looking to book a return visit. The room we was initially given was wrong (booked a double and was given a twin) however as soon as I told them they swapped my room immediately. The rooms are quite basic but clean, the staff are amazing and the food was typical all inclusive food, we didn't bother with the entertainment as we just went for a relaxing break. The hotel does a shuttle free to the sandy beach, coral beach and old town. The mosquito are quite bad atm due to the weather, I used lemon shower gel, skin so soft from Avon and jungle formula and didn't get bitten once even though I usually get bitten alot, my husband never gets bit so didn't use anything for first day n got bitten alot! People come around the pool to try n sell you stuff but if you just say no they don't pester you. All in all we had a great relaxing holiday n can't wait to return in September

Great hotel. Staff were extremely helpful, big shoutout to Akram at the Mermaid Bar for treating us exceptionally well. Akram was super friendly and kept our drinks topped up all day. Drinks and cocktails were basic, but expected and true to what's written up regarding this. The hotel was true to description, food was lovely and rotated daily. The paid restaurant was also great and we ate here twice. Rooms were cleaned to good standard. The hotel was a balanced mix of lively and quiet..over the quieter end of the hotel we could still hear the entertainment area one night, but nothing some earplugs didn't fix. Daily free shuttles to two beaches, old Egypt Market and also Narma Bay. Excursions are available to book at the hotel which was also helpful - although there was a minor hidden charge on the snorkelling trip we weren't informed about. The only downside really (which may have been down to me not checking) was that check in was 2pm and we arrived from flying around 9am. However despite this, reception did everything they could and had us checked in a little earlier. We were also given inclusive lunch the day we checked out and were able to still access drinks and the pool prior to transfer to the airport. Entertainment staff could be a little pushy but it's understood that this is their role. The spa was decent, not brilliant so I would encourage you to haggle as much as you can to get a fair price before purchasing anything to ensure you're not overpaying - but regardless of this, spa staff were also very friendly and our treatments allowed us to relax even more into the holiday. One minor mishap on returning home - our transfer to the airport should've been included but I think due to a language barrier at reception it transpired that the hotel had accidentally booked us a taxi..which we were expected to pay for. Luckily we didn't have to in the end and I hope the taxi Sir was able to sort this with the hotel. Overall, a brilliant stay and would certainly go back. True to price. Thank you.

Hotel was ok, room was fine nothing special, food was fine but could do with more selections. Pool was quite small but nice atmosphere. Location of hotel was poor, nothing outside hotel and very derelict surroundings. Staff were pleasant. Wouldn't recommend the hammam spa but the massage I had was brilliant. We had a nice relaxing break but wouldn't revisit.

Such a great hotel. The staff are super helpful, and always try their best to help, they made sure to take care of all my needs, big thanks to Youssef, Ephraim, Kerolles and Michael. Clean rooms, the food is great with lots of variety. The facilities are great, with a table tennis, pool-table and a shisha corner where you can relax and enjoy your drinks at the evening.

What a lovely clean hotel with great food and perfect with allergies 100% woukd stay again great hotel for a 3 to 4 stars
