The hotel is amazing- kind staff and great breakfast!! The location is perfect by the beach! The housekeeper Hana in room 1819 was so kind and service minded ! She always helped with a smile!

Khalidiya Palace Abu Dhabi belongs firmly to the latter. From the very first moment, the tone was set at check-in. Alex delivered what may well be the smoothest check-in experience I have had all year. Calm, professional, genuinely friendly, and deeply attentive — not the rehearsed politeness of hospitality, but the rare sincerity that immediately makes you feel welcome rather than processed. That first interaction matters, and Alex got it absolutely right. The location is exceptional — serene, expansive, and beautifully connected to the sea. The private beach feels like an extension of the room itself, seamless and peaceful, inviting rest rather than distraction. This is a hotel that understands stillness. But what truly elevates Khalidiya Palace from a great hotel to a greatest hotel is something harder to train and impossible to fake: the people. Every single interaction — housekeeping, concierge, room service, restaurant staff — carried the same warmth, attentiveness, and quiet pride. Everyone seems genuinely invested in your comfort. That collective culture makes all the difference. At Horizon Restaurant, special appreciation goes to Shamim and Mark. Their service was thoughtful, intuitive, and gracious — never intrusive, always present. Dining felt unhurried and human, the way it should. This stay was also a resting and recovery day for us, and the care shown during that time deserves special mention. I am always vigilant when it comes to my wife’s wellbeing, especially in moments of emergency or vulnerability. The staff — particularly one extraordinary gentleman of Nepalese background (I regret forgetting his name) — went above and beyond. He personally guided my spouse through the buffet, carefully explaining each dish and ensuring her allergy requirements were fully understood and respected — even extending that care thoughtfully to desserts. That level of compassion is unforgettable. Room service was prompt, polite, and consistently excellent. From cleanliness to comfort, from service to surroundings, almost every aspect of the experience reflected excellence. If I must offer one small, constructive note — and I do so with respect — it relates to the breakfast egg station near the meeting room extension. The preparation of a sunny-side-up egg proved surprisingly inconsistent (despite clear instructions). A bit of additional training here would easily resolve this minor detail. It does not diminish the stay, but perfection is built on such small refinements. In the end, Khalidiya Palace Abu Dhabi reminded me of something important — something the great critic Anton Ego once learned: “Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.” Likewise, not every luxury hotel becomes memorable — but memorable hospitality is born from people who care. This palace does. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking food, beautiful big and always clean room. Amazing staff, beautiful lobby. Clean and warm outside pool.

Overall a very nice hotel with a good staff. It was a bit crowded but that is to be expected at Christmas time. The facilities were well maintained and the room was quite nice. Especially memorable for good service was our housekeeper Anwar, he was always there to make our stay better. Also great was the staff at the playroom, they were always very friendly and great with our daughter— what a great thing to have at a hotel!
