The positives are the variety of facilities and the location. Unfortunately, the staff are rude and disrespectful.

A very nice hotel to stay with the family. It has a relaxed atmosphere with many families. There were also those attending for business. A good location, near Emirates Palace and a relatively short taxi ride to Abu Dhabi Mall (22 AED), Marina Mall (12AED) and WTC Mall (20AED). Theme parks at Yas Island about 25 mins 75ED fare. Always taxis outside the hotel - never has to wait. The pool area is very nice, as is the beach, and plenty of comfortable sunbeds. All staff are very friendly. Only one restaurant on half board which is buffet style. Normally something for everyone - some interesting mixes of food. Many of the waiters struggled to understand requests and usually got incorrect orders for drinks etc. Tarek was the exception and the best waiter by far - very friendly, attentive and always got orders correct. Would have been nice to have had other restaurant options - there is an Arabic restaurant but have to pay extra. Drink and food prices by the pool are very expensive but there is a small shop by the taxi rank where you can stock up on cheaper drinks and snacks. This is a dry hotel with no licenced bar.

Beautiful hotel, nice food and friendly staff

We received a very warm welcome and were recognised as GHA Discovery members, our room was on a high floor and the view was stunning. Huge room and bathroom with all the amenities you could wish for, lovely balcony and impeccably clean throughout. The pool area was huge and ideal for families as was the beach area and we were lucky visiting out of school holidays it was quiet, I expect being a family advertised hotel during peak seasons it could be very busy but we clearly picked the right quiet time to visit. The staff from Uganda and Kenya at breakfast service were friendly and happy and it was a delight to talk to them every morning (sorry I did not take your names) - there was a huge selection of breakfast and evening dinner choices, lunch and drinks at the poolside were delivered quickly and overall - value for money is exceptionally good at this hotel

Disappointing — not suitable for anyone, especially those with access needs I am writing this review to share my honest experience, as I feel others need to know what to expect here. Cleanliness — far below standard The room was not properly cleaned. Surfaces had dust and marks that had clearly not been wiped away. The bedding was not changed — I found hair and stains that were not mine, and the sheets felt stale and unwashed. It was uncomfortable and worrying to see this standard in a hotel. Staff — rude, unhelpful, and dismissive The biggest problem was the attitude of most of the staff. They were unfriendly, dismissive, and downright rude. When I explained I have access needs and asked for simple help or understanding, I was met with impatience, eye-rolling, and in some cases, ignored completely. It felt as though they did not want to be bothered, and made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. There was no kindness, no willingness to assist — just coldness and hostility. Would I recommend? No. The lack of basic cleanliness is bad enough, but the way I was treated — especially as someone with a disability — was truly upsetting. Everyone deserves respect when travelling, and here that was completely missing. I left feeling undervalued and unwelcome. I hope management will address both the cleaning standards and the way guests are treated — everyone deserves better than this.
