Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi

We stayed at the Rixos Marina in Abu Dhabu for 4 nights in January. I am so pleased to say that we experienced an exceptional stay in a fabulous hotel that puts customer satisfaction at the highest level possible. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We would like to pick out Gourav in the Turquiose restaurant who looked after all our dietary requirements, Bhupeder who cheerfully ensured our room was regularly well tended to, Mohammed Ali and his collegue Mohammed in reception who very patiently assisted us with our on line needs for the next part of our trip, and Joshua in Concierge who always greeted us with a big smile and always ready for a chat. Thank you all so much. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Came to Rixos on the return from AI in Maldives. Booked Half board. At check in my hisband enquired about the cost of upgrading to AI as we had just returned from 10 days AI in maldives and may have been a big junp for the kids. With cocktails etc costing alot, ice creams etc. we were advised at check in the cost for 2 adults and 3 children would be £1127 for 5 nights. We decided to go for it after being advised about snack hut round pool, ice creams, drinks etc for the children, restaurants including an indian on the top floor. My husbands favourite is an Indian restaurant so that was the ultimate decider. We had requested an interconnecting room as a family of 5 which we didn’t get. Our rooms were on the same floor but ruins the experience when your not altogether so was a shame. Views on the 27th floor - spectacular! The 2 buffets were lovely. Especially the one with the outdoor section. Outside setting it beautiful. Huge range of food, bbq station, pizza area, salads, seafoods etc. couldn’t fault it the food. It was very busy people everywhere especially at opening. The booming system of the restaurants is ridiculous and seems a bit of a dated system, having to cue at 7/8am to request your chosen restaurant to get to the front of the cue and find its fully booked already. We did mange to book the ‘indian’ as previously mentioned for in a few days time. When we arrived to the restaurant on the top floor, think it was 38th floor. Incredible views, stunning restaurant and vibe. We got taken upstairs next to the DJ. Opened the very limited menu to find it was actually all sushi restaurant and therefore not the indian we had been advised and the ultimate reason we went for the AI package. Highly disappointed we left after explaining to the restaurant manager what we was expecting. Husband doesn’t eat sushi. Back down to buffet again for the 100th time. We found getting a sun-bed the usual issue, unless your at the pool for 7:30/8 your not in a desired location. Towels laid out and most beds taken. Highlights around the pool were the ice buckets filled with water and the waiters on skates keeping you hydrated throu Evening entertainment - sat outside listening to some great bands, supplied with Overall an ok stay but the incorrect advice given at check in re restaurants and the no interconnecting rooms for a family of 5 has left a sour taste.

Had a fab time staying at the rixos during our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix trip. The hotel is beautiful, I loved the live music in the lobby area and there was a good range of options for food, both in the hotel including into the night and at the marina mall which is within walking distance. Good varied cocktail menu which our skating waiter friends by the pool kept us stocked up with - super impressed by their ability to god over the stepping stones part of the pool on roller blades! Nice choice of chilled beach bar or livelier indoor bar in the evenings. Service was great generally, including remembering my gluten allergy when we went back to the same restaurants.

I had 11 nights in Rixos All inclusive packages, it’s was really enjoyable and amazing holiday. The reception team was great, check in was smooth, also Glen and Mohammed from concierge was helping with tickets and some questions, thank also for help Altynai.

We were great to have a rest hear! We want to send a respect to waiter Nabaraj - really cool men, he made our evenings so majestic! Thank him very much!
