SANI BEACH

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable stay at Sani Resort, and what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible team. From the moment we arrived, Kiki at reception set the tone for our entire holiday. She went above and beyond to personally see to our every need, always with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. Breakfast each morning was a highlight thanks to the wonderful team — Anisa, Kostas, and Sofia. They greeted us with such friendliness and energy, remembered our preferences, and created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that made every morning feel special. Around the resort, we were equally impressed by the attentive and hardworking pool and beach staff. Osie at the pool was fantastic — always on hand, proactive, and full of positive energy. At Porto Sani, Jacob at the pool provided exceptional service, ensuring everything ran seamlessly, while Ria at the Porto pool brought such a lovely, friendly presence that really enhanced our time there. Down at the beach pool, Dionisis was outstanding — attentive, professional, and always making sure guests were comfortable and enjoying themselves. It’s rare to experience such consistently high levels of service across an entire resort, but this team truly made our stay. Their attention to detail, warmth, and genuine hospitality turned a beautiful destination into something truly memorable. We can’t wait to return — and it will be because of people like them.

We visited Sani Beach in May 2025 as a family of three with our 12 month old baby. Having previously had a great experience at Ikos Andalusia we were keen to try other hotels within the Sani/Ikos brand. First impressions are lovely, the check in process was smooth and welcome drinks were provided. The lobby overlooks the pools and beach, with well manicured greenery all around. Unfortunately the lifts are small, and too few to manage the number of guests (many, like us, with strollers), so expect to wait at busy times or use the stairs if possible. After check in we were shown to our Junior Suite, which was smaller than expected with the seating area cramped and a tiny bathroom. The decor was tired, the room as a whole needs refurbishment to reach the standards of other high-end luxury hotels. A particular note for parents of young children - the shower/bathtub was very small and designed in such a way that it was difficult to access the bath while bathing our baby - we had to go in with them to ensure their safety. We had asked on the first day if we could pay to upgrade or move to one of the other Sani hotels due to our disappointment with the room. Unfortunately this was not possible and we felt that the attitude from front desk staff was not as pleasant during this conversation as it should have been. Halfway through our stay we were moved to a Junior Suite Panorama that was an improvement in terms of space and had a separate shower and so didn't have the same bath design that made it difficult to bathe baby. We were pleased to see that the quality and presentation of the food and drink at Sani is largely of the same standard that we enjoyed at Ikos. The buffet was excellent, offering large variety and warm service. The strength of Sani lies in its Dine Around offering, though it was often confusing to establish which restaurants had set offerings included within the Half Board. I hope that improvements can be made to the Sani app to make this simpler in future. Notable exceptions to this high standard of food/service were at the casual eateries in the Marina. At Patisserie we were served a mouldy profiterole dessert. Thankfully we noticed before consuming it and the staff, when alerted to this, were apologetic. I hope that this kind of situation is avoided in the future with more thorough checks on the food that is being served. Travelling with a baby is difficult, and being able to access warmed cows milk from the various cafes/bars around Sani stood out as a big help in allowing us to enjoy time out without having to retreat back to the room. We were surprised on one occasion at the Creperie when they charged us in order to access this. Upon raising this with staff at the hotel I was assured that it shouldn't have happened. It was rectified, but not what you want to be spending time discussing when you are trying to enjoy your holiday! Otherwise we were happy to see a travel cot set up in the room when we arrived. We also were able to request a steriliser and water/cows milk is provided in the room when requested. Our little one very much enjoyed having three-course children's meals in the a la carte restaurants as part of the half board. The variety of food on offer for children is a great strength of Sani. Overall we had a pleasant holiday, however despite the staff trying their best it is clear that Sani Beach is due a refurbishment. Couple this with a few lapses in service and it left us slightly disappointed. Our rating takes into account the high expectations according to the prices that Sani charge and the standards that the brand has set for itself. We would likely return to Sani, but would avoid Sani Beach and opt for one of the other hotels on site.

We’ve been visiting Sani Resort since 2016 and every single stay has been nothing short of exceptional. What keeps us coming back year after year is the perfect balance of luxury, relaxation and family-friendly fun. There is always something new for the children to discover and the team consistently goes above and beyond to make every moment special. Nothing is ever too much trouble - the staff’s warmth and attentiveness truly set this resort apart. The beach is simply stunning: crystal-clear waters, impeccably clean sand and a wonderfully safe environment for little ones to play and explore. The variety of restaurants ensures there’s something to delight everyone, from relaxed family meals to more refined dining experiences. Last year, my partner and I decided to visit on our own and it was just as magical. Without the children, we experienced a different side of the resort - peaceful, indulgent and effortlessly romantic. It really is a destination that works beautifully whether you’re travelling as a couple or as a family. We’re already counting down the days until our return this June! Over the years, the staff have come to feel like family. A very special mention to Nicole, who is always so warm and welcoming - she truly makes us feel at home.
