Amirandes - A Grecotel Resort to Live

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was excellent – the food, the pools, the beach, the rooms, and the overall service. The staff was always friendly and made us feel very welcome. What really made this hotel stand out were the sports activities and the kids club. There is a huge variety of activities for both adults and children, so there is always something to do. We especially enjoyed the aqua gym, beach volleyball, yoga, SUP yoga, tennis, padel, and many other activities organized throughout the week. A big thank you to Niki and Costas, who made every activity so much fun with their energy and enthusiasm! The Grecoland Kids Club was also fantastic. Adel and Veronika took wonderful care of the children and organized a great program every single day from morning until evening. The kids loved spending time there, and it gave parents the chance to relax or join the sports activities knowing their children were in great hands. Honestly, you don’t even need to leave the resort because everything you could possibly need is here. We highly recommend this hotel to families as well as couples looking for an active and relaxing holiday. We would definitely love to come back!

Great Hotel and playing Padel with Costa was an absolute ball. Great guy, challenging playing partner. He organized great matches with other hotel guests all at the same playing level. No need to go and find someone to play with, Costa does all the organization for you.

Spent a night here as we wanted to visit Knossos and came in via ferry from Santorini. The service was not a 5* hotel - we arrived late and had no adapter for our plugs and asked the hotel. They were unable to provide a solution nor an adapter to use so we could not charge our cell phones after traveling all day. Tons of children running around, noisy hallways, and poorly sound proofed rooms. When there are movies in the courtyard at night, you can hear it well enough in the room, you can follow the narrative. Only spent a night here so can't say much for the grounds but from what we saw, looked like they had nice grounds. Felt more like a 3* hotel than a 5* star hotel. Breakfast had a wide spread for the buffet. Location was a bit remote unless you had a car. Would say it was a little expensive for what it was.

Resort really impressive! We decided that we will come to Crete and we will visit every place from one side to another ! But after we’ve met Costadin sports instructor everything change, every day padel games and unstoppable energy ….he make me a fan of the game and all my family , by far the best days of my life !!! He’s attitude and his amazing character keep us fit and never bored!!! I promise to this gem that I will return next year with all my equipment for unstoppable padel tournaments and volleyball matches. P.s Sunday sports are off so we visit Knossos and it was great 👍🏾! If I need to suggest something for improvement this will be Servise at the dinner and breakfast. See you next year !

We had a wonderful stay at Amirandes. The hotel is beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere, and outstanding service. A special thank you to Evelyn and her team at Blue Monkey for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. She recommended some excellent Greek wines, which were included in our package and which we really enjoyed trying. We will definitely be returning in the future.
