Aquila Rithymna Beach

The hotel has a good location, easy to travel. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to go to Rethymno. Beautiful garden and bungalows area with mini pools. The hotel has its own beach. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious and polite staff. A good place for a family vacation.

We’ve had a brilliant time at Aquila Rithyma beach. By far the stand out part of our holiday has been the Kri Kri Club who went above and beyond to make our 6 year old’s holiday so much fun. We have never put our son into a kids club on holiday before (partly my fault as I’m such a worrier) but the staff here left no doubt that our son was in safe hands and would have an amazing time. We only planned for our son to go to the kid’s club for a few hours on a couple of days but he was desperate to go back each day and he had the best time. We would come back to this hotel for the Kids Club alone, it was absolutely amazing! Special thanks to the gentleman on reception who checked us in at midnight after a full day travelling; we were all so tired and he was so welcoming and it was so lovely to be welcomed in such a warm way after such a full and exhausting day travelling. Our favourite place was the Rimondi Brasserie where the food/drinks/service was always exceptional. We enjoyed a meal at the Eleftherna Restaurant on one of the nights and this was a real treat with really friendly staff. The food at Aquila was great and there was always plenty of choice. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities and hotel grounds are beautiful, spotless and well maintained. I had read some of the negative reviews and was a bit worried but I shouldn’t have been as the holiday was definitely deserving of a 5 star holiday. The majority of staff went above and beyond and were so lovely. It was a brilliant holiday and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aquila Rithyma Beach

A special highlight is the spa hairdressers; Eleni is truly exceptional and highly recommended for a wash and blow-dry.The spa team are equally fantastic, with Elena and her team delivering impeccable service and genuine care. They go above and beyond to make each stay feel truly special.
