Our 7th year coming here and once again a fantastic time was had by my wife and with more memories. Too many people thank from the bar staff , restaurant staff , spa people and of course our maid Lena We will be back May 2027 to see all our friends we have made , Klio and the team in the Bar , also Maria and Victoria guest services and so many in the restaurants too many to mention Just a couple of points 1. The Mythica rooms could do with a paint especially wooden areas starting to look tired 2. Can we have the cupboard space back that was under the TV ?in room 86 Think they were removed to give illusion of space but it actually has reduced it as we had to put our shoes there Once again thank you as always for a fantastic stay x

Our Beloved Hotel – Aquila Rithymna Beach. We Will Always Come Back! ❤️ We had the pleasure of staying once again at our beloved Aquila Rithymna Beach from 26 September to 12 October 2026, staying in Bungalow 16. Once again, we have returned to our favourite hotel in Crete — and, considering all the places we have visited, perhaps our favourite hotel of all! As always, we are absolutely delighted with our stay. The cuisine was outstanding once again! The staff are truly exceptional — friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every guest. Despite the disappointing weather during the first week, we still had a wonderful time. The hotel offers so many activities, entertainment options, and interesting things to enjoy. The second week rewarded us with beautiful weather and plenty of sunny days. This time, we enjoyed dinners at the Taverna, and we would especially like to mention some truly wonderful members of the team: Georgios Arabantzis and Marilena Volanaki – Captain They welcomed us at the Taverna, always arranged the best seats for us, and treated us with exceptional kindness. They even spoke to us in our own language, which made us feel especially welcome. Their warmth and genuine friendliness meant a great deal to us. Marios and Dionisis – Waiters These two wonderful guys were so kind to us that we genuinely felt as though they were treating us like family. They are hardworking, warm-hearted, and incredibly friendly. We were left with such a positive impression of them! They are simply fantastic and deserve the highest praise. At the Main Restaurant, we were once again welcomed by familiar faces who have become very dear to us: Evangelia Androulaki – Captain, Main Restaurant Stelios Pavlakis – Commis Sommelier Georgios Theodorakis – Sous Maître Of course, they recognised us from our previous visits, and the joy they showed when they saw us again was absolutely genuine and heartfelt. It was wonderful to see them once more and feel that we were remembered. Every member of staff mentioned above radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine affection. Their love for their guests is not something you can fake — it comes straight from the heart. This is what makes this hotel so special and creates the feeling of being among friends and family rather than simply staying at a hotel. We would also like to thank Maria Tavlariou – Guest Relations Manager, for her attention and the wonderful way she treated us. We are truly grateful for her kindness. And finally, we would like to express our very special gratitude to our dearest and most beloved member of the team, Victoria Samusevich – Guest Relations Officer. Victoria did everything possible to make our holiday wonderful and unforgettable once again. Her care, attention, and dedication mean so much to us. We cannot thank her enough for everything she has done to make our stay so special. We have come to love this hotel as if it were our second home. It is no longer just a place where we spend our holidays — it is a place we return to because of the wonderful people who make us feel so welcome and cared for. We will most certainly return again and again! Thank you, dear team, for everything you do. You are no longer just the hotel staff to us — you have become our dear friends and our hotel family. Stayed here twice before and returning again in October , the hotel, grounds, beach are amazing the staff are more then welcoming and the food is second to none, would highly recommend this hotel for a more relaxing holiday

I’d like to share our experience with this hotel and paint a really honest picture of it for a family of four (kids age 12 & 9)- Pro’s Beautiful location right on the beach. Clean and tidy with lovely staff and friendly room service / maintenance staff. Helpful reception and any issues fixed quickly, our air con dipped one night and a guy came over to fix it straight away. We had a family garden room which was beautiful and really spacious (just beware of the mozzies). Food was beautiful and varied if you like healthy meats, fish and salad options it’s a winner. Pool was big and a nice temperature and the staff allowed the use of inflatables which was a bonus compared to some Spanish pools lately. Life guard always on duty. No sun bed wars as there a very hardline guy who removed bags and towels if the beds were left longer than 15 minutes unoccupied - this was a plus and a minus as one single woman was only in the pool with her kids and all her stuff was removed! I think this should be extended to 30 minutes as it was very stressful. Con’s Main restaurant areas weren’t cool enough with insufficient air con which made eating, even indoors, quite uncomfortable. Ordering drinks via an app on the sunbed brolly was annoying as often took 15 minutes to get a drink! The whole purpose of all inclusive is to allow a free flow of refreshments as you’ve paid up front, I personally couldn't come again due to this feature. Ice cream queue far too long at times and only one scoop or one person operating it. The beach was great although stoney but there was an extra charge to bring drinks there so we didn’t bother heading there much. In general I wouldn’t this hotel as a 5 star, more like a 4 or 4 star plus. Entertainment for the whole family was miles away at a hidden amphitheatre so this wasn’t great as drinks weren’t that accessible down there. Very loud aerobic music every morning at the pool at about 11 was too loud to ignore so we left while it was on, and lost our sunbeds. I hope this helps as there are some great pluses to this hotel but I wouldn’t return due to the app ordering system as it wasn’t that easy!
