Ariadne Beach

The hotel is lovely with great views all around, food is delicious. Visited the spa which was a fantastic experience we were greeted by Emma who gave us an excellent experience so much so that we’ve all booked again! George gave me a massage and relieved an old injury of mine which I was very thankful for, he is very knowledgeable and professional.

The room is spacious and very clean, the staff are all very polite. I went to the spa at the hotel and the therapist George was very professional and made the experience easygoing and relaxing. Emma was at the front desk of the spa and she was very polite and gave us plenty of advice which made the stay more comfortable. Also the spa prices are fairly reasonable for the experience you’re given. The location is not far from the town and the beach is just outside the hotel so it’s perfect for those who want to relax in the sun. It’s very quiet at night which makes it easy to sleep. The overall atmosphere is very calm and pleasant. I would say it’s worth the money you pay as there’s excellent service. For example the house keepers clean the room everyday. The hotel restaurant has a large variety of food which is delectable. The town is 15 minute walk with a beautiful lake to sightsee nearby which makes this hotel great for people who love exploring.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, has the friendliest staff members ever and had a really nice clean spacious room. 100% best value for money. When we first arrived we visited the spa to book a treatment and we were greeted by Emma who took us through each treatment, trialed the products and gave a real in depth explanation of what all services would do. Emma was so lovely and chatty, she was a real highlight of our trip she really made us trust in their services and the products they used. Emma was the first staff member we spoke to upon arriving so it really set the tone when she was so welcoming and kind. She even had a great discount off their couples together journey full body massage and facial. I had Rupa and she was extremely respectful and polite checking the pressure etc. the service was amazing. A real relaxing treat for me and my partner. My partner had George who is a physio so he was able to do a proper sport massage as my partner does athletics and is really into fitness. He was amazing also. The pools are great, always at least one sun lounger available. Fully adults only area, some reviews said there is a play area and kids around but we did not have this experience! No kids at all, no noise. It was a very even split of older and younger couples. The beach is quite small but if you walk past miramare hotel next door (to the right as you leave the Ariadne hotel) you will find the amazing sandy almiros beach where you can do water sports or rent a sun lounger for only €10. We did so many different activities on the beaches and excursions from the port mixed with some relaxing days. Perfect holiday location for us as we like to go out and about and have the beach days in between. The food is the typical buffet food. We did half board and had many options to swap the dinner to lunch if we wanted to. The only odd thing was we had to pay for water every dinner time but not at breakfast. I would have thought water was included but alas it was €2 per litre bottle every night. Not too upset about this, it was still worth it. On our last day we were happy to be able to pay around €10 per hour extra to stay in our room later than the standard checkout of 12pm. We were collected from the hotel at 5pm, so we were really relieved to be able to stay in the air conditioned room until then. 1000% recommend this hotel, it is definitely one of, if not the best holiday we have been on as a couple. Thank you to the hotel staff for the hospitality and services. They were all amazing !

Visited June 2026 for 10 days travelled and booked with Jet2. We were allocated a room in one of the original blocks with blue metal railings on the balconies (not the glass balconies you see in the photographs) defo upgrade. We had pokey room, pokey bathroom, pokey balcony, some clothes had to hang on the outside of the wardrobe nowhere near tall enough, yes they do have buggies but they don't quite reach these old apartments. The hotel and room was spotless, stayed B/B breakfast was good with nice seating areas inside and out. Pool areas also spotless just not enough loungers and definitely not enough mattresses. An ok 15min walk into town and a 10 minute walk to fabulous Almyros Beach, sandy and crystal clear water.

Great food, great location and excellent and serviceminded staff, making it a memorable experience for all of us.
