Ariadne Beach

Visited June 2026 for 10 days travelled and booked with Jet2. We were allocated a room in one of the original blocks with blue metal railings on the balconies (not the glass balconies you see in the photographs) defo upgrade. We had pokey room, pokey bathroom, pokey balcony, some clothes had to hang on the outside of the wardrobe nowhere near tall enough, yes they do have buggies but they don't quite reach these old apartments. The hotel and room was spotless, stayed B/B breakfast was good with nice seating areas inside and out. Pool areas also spotless just not enough loungers and definitely not enough mattresses. An ok 15min walk into town and a 10 minute walk to fabulous Almyros Beach, sandy and crystal clear water.

Great food, great location and excellent and serviceminded staff, making it a memorable experience for all of us.

Very nice Hotel - we were given a free upgrade as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. All the staff from Reception to cleaners were so helpful. Buggies are brilliant as all rooms seem to be on the hills. Restaurant food was varied & plenty of everything. Waiting staff excellent. Beautiful sandy beach 10/15 minutes walk & a lovely beach bar. Sea is so turquoise & clear. Only problem are the sun beds - everyone gets up very early & reserve as not enough. Would have loved more entertainment at night but appreciated the quietness in the day. Harbour & Lake 10/15mins walk. Cabs always available 8 euros. Very nice time here- Hotel made us feel very welcome & relaxed.

Great location, facilities and feel. Manos and Zima in the bar always smiling and happy to see you! Great drinks 👍 Pool area always clean and relaxing. Food every day was nice, and bar by the beach perfect for evening drinks!

A very chilled holiday in which we stayed half board. We booked a junior suite which was perfect for us. Rooms are set out in bungalow style with four in a block/row. We had a sea view which was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff were on point and can't thank Athena enough for keeping our room spotless throughout our stay. George in the main restaurant kept us well lubricated with raki and always a joke or two. Food was good but as we were there for two weeks it started to become repetitive, we ate out a few times in which prices were very reasonable. When we opted to do that we could change dinner for lunch which was a nice option to have. The only negative I would have was the scramble for a sun lounger. Most beds were taken by 8am with towels placed on them as early as 6:30am. An increase in sun loungers would ease that issue.
