Arina Beach Resort

We’ve just come home from an amazing stay at Arina Beach Resort and honestly couldn't fault it. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and every member of staff we met worked incredibly hard. The resort itself was spotless. Everywhere was kept so clean, and it really made a difference. The food was also really good, with plenty of choice at every meal, so there was always something for everyone. We stayed in one of the private bungalows, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're thinking about booking. Having the extra space and privacy made the holiday even more relaxing and was well worth paying a bit extra for. We had such a lovely family holiday and will be returning!

The location was absolutely fantastic, 10 minute drive from Heraklion airport and about a 15 - 20 minute drive to the city centre. The room was absolutely amazing, we changed the dates from when we was originally going so we had to downgrade our room due to expenses but the room was absolutely amazing, we had a balcony which overlooked the sea. The bathroom in the room was fantastic. Pleasantly surprised with the amount of extras in the room every day such as cans of drink, water (x2 everyday) and shower essentials. The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and friendly! They honestly couldn’t do enough for you, greeting you every morning with a smile honestly spread the positive vibes. I stayed for 10 days and was honestly sad to leave as they had become a second family. The bar staff were creating new drink combinations for me as I didn’t like what was on the menu! The best places to eat in the hotel in my opinion are the Asian fusion place and the main buffet both of which can be accessed as many times as you like. The meat and fish restaurant was okay but again it was like a buffet apart from you have to order the fish. The Avra dining wasn’t my cup of tea, the menu is pretty basic and honestly didn’t live up to my standards for only being able to visit twice. The beach is literally on your doorstep although you have to get down there early as the sand gets so hot! Overall noise wise, it’s pretty quiet apart from the cicadas being noisy trying to mate! Overall I would recommend! I promised one of the bartenders I would be returning and I will!

Good Food, nice pools, many things to do for children

The hotel was excellent. I truly had a wonderful experience. This was my second visit this year, and once again everything was fantastic. The service was outstanding, the hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. The only issue was with two of the bartenders at the beach bar. One of them was bald. They were very unfriendly and quite disrespectful. Their attitude made guests feel unwelcome, and honestly, it made me not want to order anything from the bar.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every aspect of our stay was outstanding. If you’re looking for the perfect holiday destination in Crete, this resort is an excellent choice. We booked the all-inclusive package, and it truly lived up to its name. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offered an incredible variety of fresh and delicious food every day. There was something for everyone, and the quality was consistently excellent. The unlimited drinks were another highlight, with a fantastic selection of cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, and other beverages available throughout the day. What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. A special mention goes to the manager of the Ariadne Restaurant, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made sure guests were well looked after and that everyone had everything they needed, creating a wonderful dining experience every day. Overall, Arina Beach Resort offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, outstanding food, and world-class service. We had an unforgettable holiday and would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Crete. We will definitely be returning!
