Atlantica Caldera Palace

Just returned from our 7th visit to the hotel and would recommend without hesitation; we’re already planning our next visit. Rooms are well equipped with everything you could possibly need ranging from toiletries through to slippers, bath robes, tea making facilities and ironing board. The restaurants cater for all tastes of quality foods, including Italian, Greek and Thai, complemented by traditional dishes. The pool areas are plentiful and ample quantity of sun beds are available, and for those wanting a beach visit the hotel location is perfect. Our favourite evening choice is the Guru Bar where a friendly welcome is always assured. Drinks are readily available and there is also musical entertainment on several afternoon/evenings. The fact that we continue to return to this hotel is proof that it ticks all the boxes for us. Great staff, service, location and cleanliness.

The week before we arrived we were advised the main restaurant was still not finished, the alternative restaurant was terrible with poor food choices and no show cooking. At least the adults only breakfast in the Mexican restaurant saved meal times. The food court worked well but on our last day the plastic chairs were changed to proper seating with cushions. Evening entertainment was lacking, one jazz player and one who thought he was Elton John played three times a day until late. The TUI staff singing in the main lounge was OK but was not every night. At check-in we were told by the Tui representative to download an app which did not work so we still had to queue at the desk. I must mention the adults only pool bar and all the staff were wonderful. Poor food, poor entertainment and no show cooking means 4 star at best

Fantastic hotel great staff and entertainment team

We stayed at the hotel mid-June and had another lovely stay at the hotel. We have stayed several times and it has never disappointed. The staff cannot do enough for you, always making sure that you have everything you need or would like, always with a smile or greeting. There are a number of people working there who I could name who go above and beyond. The rooms are of a high standard, lovely and clean and very comfy beds. Always lots of choice in the main restaurant too. I am sure we will be back again soon

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel and couldn't recommend it more. The location is perfect with plenty of bars, beaches and places to explore just a short walk away making it easy to enjoy both the hotel and the local area. The hotel itself is stunning. There is a fantastic range of pools to choose from and the whole resort feels luxurious and relaxing. Our room was gorgeous with plenty of space and an excellent private pool that made our stay feel extra special. One of the biggest highlights was the food. There are so many restaurants to choose from, including Greek, Italian, Japanese and several others so there was always something different to try. We visited the Greek, Mexican and Italian restaurants, all of which offered excellent gluten-free options which was such a treat. As someone with coeliac disease, travelling abroad can often be stressful but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The staff in the main restaurant, especially Demitris, were absolutely incredible. They explained that it was safest not to eat directly from the buffet because of the risk of cross-contamination, but instead I could choose any gluten-free items and they would prepare them fresh in the kitchen separately. This worked perfectly for breakfast every morning. At lunch and dinner, they also offered delicious gluten-free pizzas and pasta, so I never felt like I was missing out. You have to ask for these, which came with a short wait which was absolutely fine and totally worth it. The care and attention they gave me made me feel completely confident throughout our holiday and honestly played a huge part in making it one of the best holidays we've had for gluten free food. The pool snack bar was also lovely, especially the Greek salads. They were on the smaller side but made a delicious light snack by the pool. Overall, this hotel is spectacular. The beautiful surroundings, fantastic facilities, amazing food and outstanding staff made for an unforgettable stay. Every member of the team was genuinely friendly and welcoming and their care and accommodation for my coeliac disease went above and beyond anything I have experienced before. We can't wait to come back!
