Bali Beach & Sofia Village

We arrived late at midnight, but the staff (Ali) at the reception still offered to us free drinks and some sandwiches. Ali also helped us with suitcase and led us to our room. We also would like to thank Vaggelis. He is an amazing person. He was always helpful and friendly. His smile we will never forget. The room service was also great. We found out at the reception that her name is Floreta. Nice and friendly girl, always smiling. The sea and the view from the room was amazing. It is a 3 star hotel, renovation is needed and cleaner territory around.

Ah excellent treatment from the reception staf and especially from the young talented Evagelos who offered us all our needs. The cleaning staf as well.

We had a week all inclusive family break, upon arrival staff were friendly, offered us something to eat & drink despite us arriving late into the evening. The surprise came when they showed us to our room, which is opposite complex from the main hotel and main dinning area. Estimated 100+ steps to get to our apartment!! Despite this we’ve embraced it and covered some mileage this holiday!. Apartment dated, clean and we had it cleaned most days with towels every 2/3 days. The food is repetitive and not a huge variation. The pool bar food is just a small selection of sandwiches during the day. Also shut for 2 hours maybe more depending on staff, during lunchtime. Bali resort itself is beautiful. The pool itself in our complex is lovely, quieter than the main one, although they must pump some chemicals in it as myself and my son had stingy arms and neck as a result of the water. Beaches, restaurants shops. It is hilly and a lot of steps which isn’t forth coming in many places I researched so just a heads up this resort may not be for you! Beach bar is fab! Mojitos are stunning (extra charge as is the beds) but this was the highlight for us on our stay! If you’re looking for a cheap breakaway then this resort is for you if you’re not too worried about lack of variation of food. The hotel is clean, very busy in the main resort area. Staff are very friendly! Bali is a beautiful place, maybe a self catering option would be best suited or B&B option at this resort.

Basic hotel and worth the money. Good pools and sea is near. Prepare yourself for stairs. Food good, not excellent but eatable.
