Bali Beach & Sofia Village

We went there with 6 persons. We came there at 11.30 at night and wanted to check in. The lady that sat there said you only booked 1 room while we obvious booked 2. She 'fixed' it and we went to our rooms. They where all up to a mountain. Our bags weren't carried the man just said ye it's here. We walked 110 steps. All tired with our heavy bags we looked in the room just to see 2 rooms with 1 bed for 2 persons in each room. We booked 1 family room for 4 and 1 room for 2. We went back with our suitcases ofcourse mad because first we walked 110 stairs with 2 eldery people, they didn't help us carrying and the rooms weren't right. After waiting 30 minutes she said yes we have the right room now. We want there just to see a 3 person room. We said a room for 4. Again we went back and they said o we will bring a bed there. Waiting another our and we finally had our room. The other 'bed' was not even a matras it was a pillow for outside for like a strandbed in our language. Basically he sleeps on the floor. In the morning we could finally see the room clear en saw that it wasn't cleaned. Spider webs every where. There was so much nasty things on the floor. Only thing that was clean was the bed. Well the 3 beds not the on the floor one. Well we decided that we just let it be like that because we already had so many issues. About the hygiene outside the rooms so the eating place and all: horrible every thing was sticky, the bowls to eat out were sticky and gross. The pools were definitely not cleaned. About the food: most things gross. Looked like it was laying there 3 days. We only ate here the first day and after that we only went to restaurants and ate lunch at other places. Only breakfast in the hotel. Only positive thing was Bali itself. Beautiful view lovely tiny city. So yes go in Bali but please skip this hotel. It wasn't cheap and for this prize you expect a good hotel not a unhygienic gross hotel with bad service. The hotel is really big and they have like 10 persons to do everything?? They were barman and cleaner for rooms at the same time. They were definitely tired. We already saw some bad reviews but good ones to so we thought you know there are always people that don't like it but we didn't expect it to be this bad. HOTEL NOT RECOMMENDED, BALI ITSELF IS DEFF A GOOD PLACE!! so don't get me wrong on that. And the view was good but that was it.

Been there. Great location, everything is nearby. Loved the sun, the see the hotel. Very peaceful. Will visit again. We are happy!

Must say bali beach is beautiful place stunning scenery. That the good part. On to the bad this us a true reflection on this hotel. Room fine but not clean. Towels and bed only changed once in a week. Occasionally sewage smell from shower drain. All inclusive a joke no food labeled not even soup. Very poor choice and it looked like food was being reused. Ate out 4 days out of 7. Drinks oh my god so poor went across road and bought cans to dring in bar. Asked for a sangria which was on Al inclusive list he made by putting red wine and lemonade. Entertaint hardly any so sad really. Beach towels you pay £2.50 each but they are towels previous guests have left. Beds on hotels beach and drinks from beach bar you pay for. Honestly lovely area people nice with a little investment iit could be such a great place. Love holidays need to visit before selling any more holidays to bali beach and sophie hotel.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, the meals were tasty, and the staff were extremely friendly and polite. Great value for money — definitely recommend!

The hotel photographs do not reflect the hotel itself. The food is in edible not labelled and not identifiable there was mould in the rooms fess coming up through the shower and staff showing potential new residence around whilst other guests still in the rooms staff were unhelpful and rude. And you will be strong legs cause there was more than 50 steps to the room.
