Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Melia

Just got back from this beautiful hotel for the 4th year running, and are waiting to book again for 2027. This Hotel is in the most perfect location, right next to the beach and a short stroll to shops, bars, and restaurants. When we got there, some significant changes had been made, to the pool area and dining room, which were done to a high standard. Our room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The Staff are all amazing and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them, they go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. The afternoon Aqua aerobics were run by Wacko, who puts his heart and soul into keeping us motivated and entertained, he also does the entertainment of an evening, and he does a superb job. This hote, we find is exceptional value for money, we have recommended to friend and family and they are now repeaters. Cant wait to go again

Just got back from our stay at Blue Sea Beach! The location is amazing, loved that it was right on the beach and a short walk into town. Our hotel room was lovely, clean and modern and super quiet (we by the road and we heard nothing) . The food was good but not amazing (we did all inclusive and it got repetitive by the end of the holiday with the lots of the food being repeated each night but it was still nice). We went out on the last night and the food was much better! The snack bar was good during the day. The entertainment around the pool and the evenings was really nice and the staff were super polite and friendly! The atmosphere in the evening was lovely with the entertainment but we did find other guest interesting… Our negative: I would say this is not a 5 star hotel (we were charged tax at 5 star hotel per night when arrived). When booking this holiday in January 2026 it was a 4 star, there was 2 pools including a swim up bar, this has now completely changed and we booked through easy jet who were not aware of any of changes or construction. With only 1 main pool and no swim up bar, the pool was nice but there are not enough sunbeds for the amount of guests. I was having to get up 6:30am to put towels out and it was already busy. Other guests were putting towels out the night before- hotel need to manage this better! In the spa area, I looked in the small indoor pool and it has green mold around the sides so didn’t use this facilities. But we heard the massages there were good but didn’t get round to it. The other negative was the a la carte meal this was nothing special and I thought they were similar options to the one we got in the main restaurant! Definitely not a 5 star à la carte! Overall we thought the hotel was good and we enjoyed our stay but felt what we had booked was slightly different to what we found.

Stayed here for my birthday with family arriving on the 3rd of May and extremely disappointed. The hotel was definitely not ready for guests, refurbishment was still underway. Pool bar was still under construction, our rooms were not fully equipped and the food was definitely lacking in heat and choice. We did complain to Tui rep and put in official complaint when we returned home, however when supposedly investigated the hotel had lied and said everything was in order! Not to mention the lack of fire and safety information which you could not have reported as there was no telephone in the rooms. I’m sure that given another few weeks the hotel would have been up to standard, however it wasn’t when we were there. It comes to something when the standard joke is the toast is warmer than the food even though the toasters were not working properly. Shame on the hotel for not informing the travel agents that they weren’t ready to open and shame on Tui for not taking complaints seriously. We will be taking our complaints further to ABTA.

The hotel is in a lovely location and the beach is fabulous. The hotel is beautiful but is let down by the food and service . We booked as a family and this hotel lends itself for couples . The children’s pool was closed and the play area is quite dated . They advertised this when we booked which is not fair on families . The main pool is not family friendly at all . We went when the hotel had first opened and they had many problems and in my opinion shouldn’t have taken guests . It was somewhat chaotic regarding rooms not being equipped and the dinning area not really ready . Food is lukewarm and looking at previous trip advisor photos the food is nothing like we received . Found it difficult for young children to find something for them to eat. We found the entertainment to be ok but not child friendly , same as the bar staff as they were quite rude . They would serve other people and completely ignore you . Same on arrival some quests received drinks and we didn’t . The best staff member is the guy on the beach . We spent all holiday at the beach and ate out most nights .

Hotel is amazing, most unbelievable staff, can’t do emoji for you, rooms and food amazing, also had a couples massage from Aris & Efi who were amazing, made us feel so comfortable. Would highly recommend.
