Castello Boutique Suites by the Sea

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel from July 13 to July 21, 2026, in an Ivory Gold Suite, and we had a truly fantastic stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were on a half-board basis, and the food in the restaurant exceeded all expectations — in fact, it was the best hotel food we have ever experienced — and the service was fantastic as well. The hotel is brand new, and great attention has been paid to every detail. It is situated right by the water in the small town of Sissi, and there is a small sandy swimming cove just a 10-minute walk away. There are many great excursion options, and the hotel staff were very helpful in this regard, too. We will definitely be back!

We have just left a wonderful stay at Castello Suites by the Sea. This was our second stay as we were upgraded to a private pool room 2 years ago from Castello Boutique across the road. The hotel wasn't officially open or finished by then so we wanted to return and see how the hotel progressed. We were not disappointed! The suite and hotel was immaculate, very clean. Breakfast was incredible with freshly cooked eggs available each morning (one menu item included per day). The pool was beautiful and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I am 4 months pregnant and let the staff know in advance, they couldn't be more helpful and arranged for additional pillows to be placed in the room, made sure my eggs were thoroughly cooked and informed me of any drinks etc. that may contain alcohol. As our last adults only stay for a while, this trip was very important to us. The perfect babymoon. Thank you so much to everybody that helped make our stay so memorable. Was really enjoyed the stay, surprised by such beautiful swimming pool in the room, friendly service, tasty food and amazing coffee! Highly recommended!

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 1 week and we had a great stay. We chose the bed and breakfast package as we wanted to explore surrounding restaurants as well as the hotel’s restaurant. Upon arrival our room did have an ant infestation which wasn’t ideal, but the lady at reception quickly gave us a new room for the night whilst it was cleaned which turned out to be an upgraded suite, this was very kind of them to offer free of charge due to the ant issue. Apart from this, everything in the hotel was very clean, towels changed in our room daily too and fresh pool towels given upon request free of charge. The only disappointment we had was that the hotel had a photoshoot going on poolside one morning. We was warned of this the day before however we were NOT told that facilities would be limited because of this. So as we sat by the pool, we were told to move and go to our room or outside the hotel for the morning as they needed the space for the models and the photo shoot. We was not happy about this as we had paid a lot of money to be there and use the hotels facilities so the fact we were initially told to move and then bribed with a bottle of free prosecco if we left the premises for the photoshoot, this was upsetting. We felt as though the photoshoot was their priority and not their paying guests. We was made to feel uncomfortable for simply sitting on 2 sunbeds next to the pool. However, every morning at breakfast and throughout each day, an amazing waitress called Daniella looked after us very well and we appreciate how great she was during our stay. She was so friendly, smiley and always willing to help if we wanted a drink poolside or some food at the hotel restaurant. The food in the hotel’s restaurant was AMAZING, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The location of the hotel itself is great, there is a gorgeous fishing marina 5 minutes walk away and lots of lovely restaurants and bars walking distance too. We could also use the 2 Castello sister hotels next door if we wanted which was an added bonus. I unfortunately didn’t get their names but the 2 lady’s who work behind the reception were always a great help and willing to accommodate our needs for anything. Overall, a great stay and a luxury having a plunge pool in our room too. We had a great time. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, and the staff truly make the experience special from the recrption staff to the lovely cleaner. Daniela in the restaurant was incredibly friendly and professional, and Demetris at the bar was always there to help me with my parasol—such a thoughtful touch. My room was spacious and spotless. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to refresh the towels and dressing gowns, which felt a bit worn, and to upgrade the parasols, which were tricky to open and a little small. We loved my stay and will definitely be coming back.
