We arrived at this hotel on 30th July as a family with 4 adults and a 17 year old, I’d booked 3 rooms in the adult only section with TUI and paid £23k for 14 nights. We arrived at 3am and our first impressions were good, after a simple check in we were shown to our rooms all of which had a lovely sea view. I’ll start by telling you the pro’s before I say what could be improved. I will say we’ve had a lovely holiday and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were adequate and clean, the beds large and comfy with a safe and plenty of storage. There was complimentary toiletries and beach towels in the bathroom ready for our first day as the towel hut is only open from 12-6pm. My only issue with the room was there was nowhere to sit and do my hair or make up, there was a full length mirror in the wardrobe and one in the bathroom but no others so I could only get ready in the bathroom. The resort itself it huge, half of it is laid out like a traditional hotel and the other half is a maze of cobbled paths and rooms, it was all laid out very well but it took us a while to find our way around. Disabled access appeared to be very good. There is a good variety of al a carte restaurants which you can book via the App, we tried 4 of them and loved them all. The main buffet restaurant Enomy was also very good but busy at times, we were very grateful for the adults only dining area. The variety and quality of the food was fantastic and the desserts in particular were outstanding. There was times when it was just so busy that service wasn’t great but only because they just needed more staff. We used the adults only pool each day and there was plenty of sun beds and shade, it has its own poolside bar and is a stone throw from the beach. It’s a good sized pool but unfortunately the only thing you are allowed to do in it is stand there as we got told off by Alex the life guard daily for putting flip flops on the edge, having a drink whilst sat on the edge, jumping in, I could go on. I guess he was only doing his job but nobody else ever said anything. The beach is ok, mainly sand and shingle but the water is clear so it’s easy to see the hidden rocks underneath. The watersports are reasonably priced at €40 for a pedlo for an hour, they also had jet skis and body boards. There’s was a couple of negatives for me though and that is that only refill the mini bar once a week. When we asked for a refill of sparkling water before the end of the first week they said I’d have to pay even though I offered to swap the coke, lemon, beer and orange. After I commented about this on a survey they gave us 4 large bottle of San Pelligrino water for free when I’d only originally requested some local water which seemed crazy to me although we were very grateful. The non alcoholic drinks are not branded and many of the branded alcoholic drinks aren’t included in the all inclusive. Each day you’d get two bottles of water in the room but if you wanted anymore bottled water it was chargeable. Water was available at the pool bar via the multi dispenser but it tasted so bad of chlorine it was undrinkable, when I mentioned it I was just told he drank it daily and thought it was ok. The was also cocktail menus in most bars but they were made inconsistently so you’d get one you’d like but the next time it was different. I asked for a Malibu and Coke one day but they didn’t have Malibu or an equivalent which I found strange. There was also an area of flooring at the adults only pool which was like tiny pebbles, they weren’t sealed so stick to your feet and it’s quite painful to walk on. At the end of the holiday I requested a late check out due to leaving at 9pm, I spoke to 3 different people and got a different price each time. I eventually got one room extended until 8pm for free and another for €147, but was quoted €250 per room, €147 for both rooms and €399 for 2 rooms, all very confusing. There were lots of great staff but the following stood out for us, Renos in the Meze restaurant, Zambia, Albert and Eva in the Enomy restaurant Dimitri and Giota in the cocktail bar and Christian and Ilias at the pool bar. Thank you all for looking after us, great assets to Creta Maris. In summary we had a great time but I feel that for what we paid it could have been better, branded drinks should be included with perhaps a few exceptions, the mini bar should be restocked more frequently and they need more staff in some areas. Would I return?? Perhaps for a week late seasons in the few years time but for now, there’s more places to explore. Please feel free to messsge me for more information.

This is not a 5 star hotel: - The rooms are old and outdated and would definitely benefit from renovation. - The food in the main restaurant is of average quality - Unfortunately, the cleaning staff also made it very difficult to rest. We were woken up at 7:00 a.m. by loud noises right outside our room, so we could not get a proper night’s sleep. During the day, it was almost impossible to rest in the room either: the cleaning lady would come by with a noisy metal trolley and speak loudly in the corridor. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday and sleep in your room, this can be very frustrating. - There is also no poolside service. You have to go to the bars yourself to get drinks. At the pool, the selection is mainly limited to soft drinks from the dispenser, which is disappointing for an all-inclusive resort. Overall, we expected a much better experience for the price we paid. This hotel is overpriced and not worthy a 5 stars

My mum and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Creta Maris. The resort is simply beautiful, extremely well-kept and every detail is taken care of. The food was amazing too: high-quality, varied and refined, with plenty of delicious options every day. What really made our experience special, though, was the entertainment and fitness team. We absolutely loved the yoga classes with Giulia and Chande, as well as the TRX and Full Body sessions with Billy. They were all incredibly professional, energetic and engaging, and made every class something we genuinely looked forward to. We stayed at Creta Maris with Francorosso and all the Italian assistance staff were fantastic. A special mention absolutely goes to Elisa, who was there for us from the very first to the very last moment. She is a truly special person: kind, helpful, attentive and always ready with a smile. She made us feel looked after throughout the entire holiday. Thank you to everyone at Creta Maris for making this trip so unforgettable. We left with amazing memories and would happily come back tomorrow!
