Creta Maris Resort

Visited the resort with my family. A beautiful property right on the beach, with lots of pool options and a fun mid size waterpark, very fun for kids. Food was very good with a variety of options in the main restaurant buffet. A special mention of their spa, had a body massage during the stay and the entire experience was very relaxing, shout out to the masseuse, Pantelis who was very good and well recommended. Overall a very satisfying and relaxing holiday destination.

We had an amazing stay at Maris Resort together with our children and grandparents, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with plenty of variety and high quality every day. The service was outstanding—everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our holiday special. Our accommodation was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our multi-generational family. A very special thank you goes to **Robert**, the resort photographer. We decided to book a family photoshoot, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. Robert was incredibly professional, patient, and friendly. He made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera—from our young children to our grandparents, who aren’t used to being photographed at all. He guided us naturally, never made anything feel forced, and created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the session. The final photos are absolutely beautiful and capture genuine moments that we will cherish for years to come. The entire experience was just as valuable as the pictures themselves, and that’s thanks to Robert’s talent and professionalism. We highly recommend Maris Resort to families looking for a memorable holiday. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so wonderful—we can’t wait to come back!

Creta Maris is a lovely, well maintained and idyllic resort which is ideal for families. The pros: service is exceptional - the staff couldn’t be more helpful, always with a smile on their face. The food selection is really varied, tasty and fresh, and the à la carte options mix things up especially for a week’s stay. Plenty of swimming pools and the waterpark is a great feature for kids. The report is well maintained, extremely clean with beautiful flowers everywhere. It is a really stress free place to stay and I’d recommend it to any families looking for a lovely getaway in the sun. The cons: not many but a few minor points worth being aware of. Drinks - on the all inclusive package, beer and wine beyond the local option (which are pretty poor) costs extra. In fairness this is made clear on the website - but this is an expensive high end 5* resort where you shouldn’t have to pay extra for something as unspectacular as a Corona. Having said that - many of the bars offer a wide range of great cocktails which are included- but if you like half decent beer or wine then beware it’ll cost you extra. Photographers - there are a couple of resort photographers that approach on a fairly regular basis to try and persuade you and your family when walking around the resort to have a photoshoot. We had five approaches over the course of a week despite declining and in the end it was quite intrusive. Finally - the room we had was lovely but a bit tired looking in places and could have done with a bit of modernising. But all in all - these are fairly minor points, this is a lovely, peaceful and well run resort which I’d definitely recommend. The only reason it loses a point is because of the reasons above relative to the overall price. Thank you Creta Maris for a lovely holiday!

The hotel was beautiful and very big and filled with many helpful staff. Most notably was Robert a photographer who enjoyed talking with us and helping us around. There are a lot of pools and there is a large beautiful beach. Highly recommended
