Creta Maris Resort

Just returned from a 4 night stay for 3 Adults Can’t fault the hotel the location and the staff are very friendly and helpful We sent an email requesting a room in the adult area and was shocked to be quoted 800 Euros extra for 4 nights . The Hotel was very busy which I thought was strange as the kids should have gone back to school. Booking the A La Carte restaurants was impossible as they was all booked up straight away . We managed to book Estia buffet restaurant one night and it was full with 15 plus people on tables and the buffet was cleared in minutes. The room we was located was not for 3 adults as the room for the 3rd adult was more like a child’s room / cupboard with a tiny window at high level that you couldn’t even see out of . We booked this Hotel again as previously had no issues but feel this time we didn’t get what we signed up for . Don’t advertise you have A La Carte restaurants and charge premium rate for your hotel and they can’t be booked .

We had our flight cancelled and have been very kindly offered accommodation here. The staff are an absolute credit to this hotel, manuella in back office and all of the reception and door staff have been absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, tidy and well laid out. The resort is huge and with such beautiful grounds. The beach was quite crowded and we struggled to find anywhere to sit mid afternoon but there are watersports down there and it's clean and easy to see why its a blue flag beach. The enomy restaurant is the only one I can comment on as our stay is so brief but there was plenty of choice and things to suit all the family. I bumped into a lady who said she has been coming for 3 years and I can definitely see why you'd return it caters to all. Acrobatic show was great and the waterpark looked lots of fun, there is a shop too which although pricey sold the sunscreen which we needed. There is also the town close by with supermarkets and pharmacies. For what has been a stressful time with jet2 and the lack of any communication, your hotel has been the warmest of Cretean hospitality. Highly recommended for all ages.

We have just finished our stay at Creta Maris, and honestly, everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We stayed in the Adults Only section, room 4014, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The hotel is beautiful, the food was excellent, the A La Carte restaurants were fantastic, the bars were perfect, and the service throughout the resort was exceptional. The reception team were always welcoming and helpful, and every member of staff we met was friendly, professional and genuinely happy to help. A very special thank you to Maria and her amazing team at Sima Bar in the Adults Only area. They were absolutely brilliant and made us feel so welcome every time we visited. They were friendly, fun and always made our time at the bar even more enjoyable. ❤️ We would also like to give a very special thank you to Elani from the A La Carte restaurant team. She was incredibly helpful whenever we needed assistance with the restaurants. Whatever question we had, she was always there with a beautiful smile, patience and such a lovely attitude. She really went above and beyond to help us, and we truly appreciated her kindness. And a special thank you to Robert, the photographer, who was also lovely and helped make our holiday even more memorable. 📸❤️ The staff throughout the resort were honestly one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was wonderful, and the level of service really made us feel looked after. We also paid to extend our room until 5pm on our departure day, which was absolutely worth it and made our final day so much more comfortable before heading to the airport. We are leaving Crete with such wonderful memories and honestly cannot fault this hotel. Everything was perfect – the room, food, drinks, restaurants, service, atmosphere and especially the people. We have loved our stay here and it’s mainly down to kostas lifeguard steki pool such a lovely caring friendly lifeguard. Thank you Kostas
