Where do I start, this hotel is probably one of the best ones I have stayed at in a very long time. Everything from the service, to the food, to the location of the hotel was great, not forgetting the beautiful sunsets every evening, wow absolutely incredible! Staff that work here really do want you to have a good experience. When we arrived, we was greeted with hot towels and a Greek juice, the lady at reception went through everything to the pool opening times, restaurants, evening entertainment etc. We checked into our room and it was spotless, the fridge was stocked daily (this is included in your all inclusive) and fresh towels and beach towels were given daily too. The only down side I would say was the bath was on the small side and where the shower head was placed it made it difficult to have a shower and not chuck water everywhere. The food was great, we stayed for 7 nights and only went to the buffet restaurant once in the evening but had buffet lunch most days, fresh salads, fresh pizza, pasta, meats, seafood and vegetarian options (this place even had a unlimited wine room). The omelette lady is great, be sure to tip her! Service was quick and waiters and waitress were attentive. The 5 other restaurants were amazing, Greek, Asian, Seafood (The lobster pasta, wow!!), Italian and the La Carte 'The White' was absolutely spectacular, honestly could not fault the food. Down below from the pool on the beach they have a snack bar offering unlimited crepes, waffles, smoothies and ice creams again, all made fresh to your choice. The gym was good, my partner used the outdoor gym daily with beautiful sea views. Entertainment was really good, some nights they had a DJ, a saxophone player or live singers. The bar was also very good, they used proper alcohol, not cheap brands. The one thing I liked about this hotel is they are HOT on sunbeds. You are not allowed to mark your towels on sunbeds and walk off and this rule is valid until 10am. My partner and I are early birds so we would be down for breakfast at 7:30am and by the pool by 8:30am but the pool didn't really get busy until 9am, so plenty of time to get down for breakfast and then pick the sunbeds you want for the day. I am surprised this isn't an adults only hotel, if you plan on bring your child there isn't much for them to do. The beach is great, sandy and beautiful with water sports at the far end to the left of the hotel. Overall a great holiday and an amazing hotel, my partner and I will be sure to come back soon.
Staff were exceptional Entertainment wasn’t great Food was average at the buffet restaurant but Asia restaurant was amazing Great views Very comfy and great choice of sunbeds Bus stop located just outside of hotel which was convenient Hotel was spotless and beds very comfy
Upon arrival we were really impressed, a lovely welcome by the staff and a welcome drink. We checked in and a member of staff brought our luggage to our room. The hotel is beautiful and very clean! Our room was spacious and had a sea view too, along with robes and slippers. The mini fridge is restocked daily and is included in your all inclusive package, this included bottles of water, beer, Coke and Fanta. The hotel has many restaurants, unfortunately we couldn’t visit them all as they weren’t open, you must make a reservation around a week in advance. The staff are all very friendly and lovely, however we were disappointed with the slow service for drinks around the pool area and in the sunset lounge, it’s not a place where you go up and get your drinks, we would order and it would take quite some time for our drinks to arrive, and at times the order was incorrect. The drinks are served either in plastic glasses or paper cups (pool area) The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and was enjoyable, we only had lunch a couple of times in the buffet and it was ok, other days we ordered lunch around the pool, again this took a while and was often cold. The dinner buffet was average. We ate in the white restaurant which was really lovely, definitely fine dining, we did have to wait an hour for our main course to arrive which was a shame. We also ate in the Thai restaurant which I highly recommend, as well as going to the Agreco farm, this was really good and the staff were great! We had dinner in the Italian restaurant and it wasn’t very good, again the food was cold. The staff are very hot on people reserving sun beds, if you go down and put your towels/belongings on the bed and then go for breakfast, your things will be removed. If you put your stuff on the bed after 10:30, they allow a 50 minute grace period. I’d definitely recommend downloading the app as you can see the menus for each restaurant and make a booking, it also informs you of entertainment, spa information etc. Overall, we had a great stay, improvements could definitely be made to make the service much better, all of the staff work really hard but we were let down by the slow service and cold food.
The first thing that stands out is the service. The staff is exceptional, warm, attentive and made us to feel welcome especially Dinitra, Nikolai, Eleni, Virginia, Marilena,Panagiotis, Nineta, Christina, and Maria. Room are elegant and classically styled with a strong emphasis on comfort
visited with my partner at the end of July last year on an all-inclusive basis. While the hotel is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience unfortunately did not meet the standard we would expect from a 5-star resort. Having previously stayed at Sani Dunes, Ikos, and other luxury properties, I feel I have a clear benchmark for what a seamless 5-star experience should look like. Areas for improvement: The restaurant booking system was a significant frustration. The heavy reliance on the app proved difficult, particularly as many restaurants were already fully booked on arrival (we later learned reservations should be 7 days in advance). This resulted in repeated trips to reception to organise dinner, which felt unnecessarily time-consuming. While the team were polite, being asked to return at different times depending on staff availability made the process feel far from the smooth experience expected at this level. There were also no frozen cocktails or fresh smoothies available. No adults only areas aside from one restaurant. So there was no clear space to escape families, and the main pool areas—particularly the activity pool—often felt overcrowded and less refined than expected. The activity programme was extremely limited, with little beyond aqua aerobics. Given the hotel’s more remote location, this left long periods with very little to do, so we were quite bored at times. Food quality was inconsistent across the restaurants. At the Italian restaurant, for example, our food arrived before our drinks. When we briefly left the table to get a glass of wine ourselves from the buffet restaurant, we were reprimanded by a sommelier, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Sunbed management was also problematic. While the hotel enforces a no-reservation policy, in practice this led to guests rushing to secure beds early in the morning. On several days, we had to take turns at breakfast just to ensure we had somewhere to sit. The pool areas themselves were not always as well maintained as they appeared online. The in-water sun beds, while visually appealing, were often used for eating by families, which impacted the cleanliness and overall feel of the space. Pool service was inconsistent, with drinks frequently delayed or forgotten altogether unless followed up in person. The minibar did not include alcohol, which again felt out of keeping with expectations for a premium all-inclusive offering. Housekeeping was somewhat irregular, with rooms often not serviced until mid-afternoon. There was also a lack of clear communication regarding daily activities and themed dining (such as the Tavernaki BBQ lunches), which meant we unfortunately missed out on experiences we would have otherwise enjoyed. Evening entertainment was underwhelming. While there was occasionally live music or a DJ at the sunset bar, the atmosphere felt unbalanced—the speakers were excessively loud, making it difficult to enjoy, and the space itself was often too full to comfortably access. What the hotel does well: The rooms are modern, spacious, and very well designed. The beach bar stood out for both the quality of cocktails and the friendliness of the staff. Grecofarm was a highlight—unique, well executed, and a genuinely enjoyable experience. The White adults only restaurant offered a high-quality dining experience, with excellent food and wine pairing. The hotel itself is visually stunning, with a beautiful sandy beach and very well-designed restaurant settings. The drinks selection overall was strong, with high-quality branded spirits, and the sommelier in the main areas was knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly, the staff across the resort were consistently polite and clearly making a genuine effort to provide a good experience. In particular, the gentleman who welcomed us at reception went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after throughout our stay. Overall: It is a real shame, as the hotel has all the foundations of a fantastic resort—the design, setting, and staff are all strong. However, the overall organisation and guest experience do not yet match what would be expected from a 5-star property. With improvements such as a more seamless reservation system, clearer communication, a stronger activity programme, and the introduction of dedicated adults-only areas, this could easily become a standout destination. I have recently been considering a stay at Corfu Imperial Grecotel Luxury Resort, but do feel slightly hesitant given the above, and would hope these inconsistencies are not reflective across the wider Grecotel portfolio.
