Me and my friends stayed at this hotel, just got back a few days ago. Like others have said if you don’t get up extremely early you aren’t getting a sun-bed, the best you will get is a bed behind the bar in over grown boggy grass 🥲. We payed for all inclusive so went to get a drink on our first day when we were handed a list of five cocktails which are on the all inclusive as well as being told we can only have vodka tequila or rum with mixers which we didn’t really mind. The only way to describe the cocktails is that vodka tequila and rum have been mixed into one, we tried them all and were disgusted by every one of them( there’s absolutely no difference between the alcohols) Similar with the spirit + mixers they tasted absolutely rancid too. All inclusive drinks are from a pre mixed machine, you’re given a cup basically filled half way with ice and a splash of drink and when we asked if they could be filled to the top we were told no. Multiple groups around us said the exact same about the drink situation, it was extremely disappointing when we payed that extra price for drinks included and they weren’t even bare-able to have. The first day was the last day we had any alcoholic drinks from the hotel meaning we spent ALOT more than expected on our nights out. The only other negative about our experience is parts of the room situation, we didn’t pay for a premium room so we were just in a standard room for three people. There was no storage so we basically lived out of our suitcases for the week, and between three of us we had two working plug sockets as the room was that outdated that the rest of the sockets weren’t the standard European plugs! The food was basic but we had no problems with this and the location is ideal for a drinking holiday too. Overall we had a really good stay just trying to forget all negatives but definitely wouldn’t recommend to book here.
Heronissos Hotel delivers exactly what a summer holiday promises. Simple, warm and absolutely enjoyable. We'll definitely be back for more!
Fantastic location, I'm here now with my family. Upgraded our rooms but that was entirely our choice. Very clean and comfortable. Rooms cleaned daily. Food is very very good, however be there early because it gets very busy. The staff in the restaurant are just delightful, always pleasant and polite and happy to chat. Loads of sunbeds go use, it does get busy. All inclusive drinks are plentiful. The beach is really close and lovely.
Very good experience with staff taking good care of us.
Asked on arrival if we wanted to upgrade our room for 100 euro - declined. Room we were given had filthy floor my socks were black within a few mins. Bathroom had a tiny shower with dirty curtains. Pest issue it was full of ants. No kettle or coffee facilities. Went to reception asked for the room upgrade free of charge due to sub standard room, advised we had to pay. Paid reluctantly the new room was much better but had to pay extra for a safe. Food very average we ate out most evenings. Would not recommend and in no way is it a 4 star hotel
