The hotel boasts a stunning location, blending naturally into the surrounding mountains right on the seashore. Relaxing by the pool, you can enjoy the surf. Three pools offer plenty of choice, along with a picturesque beach and stunning views. The hotel grounds are quiet and peaceful, with plenty of flowers and palm trees, ensuring nothing distracts you from enjoying the surrounding beauty. Shallow beaches in beautiful bays and other interesting places to visit are a 10-15-minute drive away. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, offering a selection of traditional Greek dishes, as well as fish and several meat options daily, delicious desserts, a selection of salads, and several types of cheese. Drinks included three types of young wine, local beer, and cocktails mixed for you by the bartender. All rooms are surrounded by beautiful flowers and palm trees and have a separate entrance, ensuring privacy. The bathroom fixtures were a bit worn, but everything worked properly, and the lovely ladies cleaned daily. Please note: if you're looking for luxury and are picky about drinks, food, and other household details, as well as noisy discos and entertainment, pay three times more and choose a modern resort. This hotel is for those who appreciate being at one with nature, incredible views, the sound of the sea, and are willing to explore the numerous bays nearby. We found everything we wanted here and definitely recommend it.

We travel 365 days a year on our yacht, so we have been around. To see Crete we rented a car and came here by accident thought booking.com. We arrived by night and were kind of taken off by the road leading to this resort, it looks like going to the end of the world. Yes, you will time travel, back to the 70's and 80's, but everything is clean, I have never seen pools as crystal clear as here, room is perhaps outdated, but it is not in a run down condition. Some parts of the resort are not in use anymore, such as the conference room / spa, open air theatre, hanging bridge, but the beach bar will serve drinks, however you won't go and sit there. The beds along the beach are OK, but the cushions are old. However, staff is friendly, scenery is stunning and from all the resorts we have seen in Crete this is in the most beautiful location. If you come for the sun, a peaceful surrounding and you have a car you can go wherever you want to go. Plakias is 5 - 10 min by car, lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc are present. If you want to go to Rethymno it will be about a 40 min drive, but what they call the Miami of Crete is basically a town to avoid. We did not see anything attractive in Rethymno unless your standards are extremely low........then you may like it. We drove through it and had seen enough. Wifi in our room was good and also around the pools signal is good. Just remember, the setting is in nature, so you can expect nature around you. There could be the odd ant, but they won't kill you. If you are looking for a party atmosphere and claim you need all kinds of activities (that you will never do in your normal life), then this place is not for you. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat and are willing to rent a car or come with your own car, then this is a good choice. You won't find a more spectacular location anywhere in Crete.

I am currently staying at this resort and this is my second time solo holidaying. I am having the most wonderful time, the staff are kind and friendly, the scenery is breathtaking and I have no complaints. The pools are very nice although some of the sunbeds need an upgrade I’ve not had an issue to find one. The little cove beach is beautiful and really handy right there. The food is nice, I’m not fussy anyway but feel there is a large selection. The room is a room to me, I never need anything fancy however mine came with a bath which I am very happy about. I’ve had one issue which was no plug for my bath which was soon fixed within the matter of half an hour. If you’re looking for relaxation like me, this is place. I would come again and bring my partner next time. Ps, there’s cats everywhere and it truly makes the place 10:10 for me
