Kalypso Cretan Village

I had a really nice and relaxing vacation. The place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I particularly liked the night shift since he helped us literally every night and was always very kind.

It’s such a shame because the location is beyond beautiful but the hotel itself was a disappointment. Definitely not 4 star the bathroom had a leaking toilet which unfortunately left the whole room smelling we found out the neighbours also had the same problem. The food was awful & the variety wasn’t great at all. No ice creams & snacks ect throughout the day at all. In the dinner hall outside we noticed cat feces. Luckily the shop attached to the hotel opened up a few hours a day so we were able to buy snacks from there for our children throughout the stay & traveled out for dinner because we rented a car which I advise anyone visiting to do because the location is so remote. It needs an update. The pool cleaners & cleaning staff however were absolutely lovely but the staff in the restaurants weren’t friendly at all.

A return visit to the most relaxing place I know. Fabulous 13 days. Lovely food. Great staff. Fabulous views and evenings on the balcony. Thanks again
