Miramare Resort and Spa

AEGEO SPA - We had a wonderful experience at this spa. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. The spa itself is beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. The treatments were exceptional, deeply relaxing and carried out with outstanding professionalism and care. A special mention goes to our therapist, Alma, whose kindness, expertise, and gentle touch made the experience even more memorable. She is truly outstanding. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone visiting Crete. It's the perfect place to treat yourself to a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

During our stay in Miramare Resort &Spa hoteI,I tried the hydration treatment in Aegeo Spa. It was done by Alma, a nice young lady. She was careful, well-prepared and paid attention on my needs. I got shoulder, head and face message. Also, she showed me gua sha techniques. I tank her and Effie this relaxing experience. Higly recommended service.

My husband and l are both in our late seventies, and we were very tired, after having a difficult flight into Crete. The flight was delayed, for various reasons. Just as we were all ready for our flight to take off, an elderly lady became ill and was violently sick on the plane. So eventually the poor lady was taken off the plane. The cleaner was then called to clean the seats etc. The lady and her four daughters bags had to be found and removed from the plane. We then missed our slot to 'take off 'for the third time! The TUI air hostesses were very kind and professional and managed to settle the situation in order for the Captain to take off. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, but the night reception staff were very accommodating and even offered us food to eat before being helped with our luggage to our room. Which we couldn't have managed by ourselves, as the many stone steps, were difficult to navigate, especially as there were no handrails to hold on to, which needs to be looked at, especially with people of our age group. In the morning the view from our bedroom balcony was stunning. The hotel is situated in a bay, so a calm sea with sea views surrounding us. A very chilled vibe. We only had one pillow each on our bed , both of which were very hard. We did asked if we could have another pillow each, but was told they don't have any more by the chamber maids. We mentioned it to the receptionist and she said she would look into it. Still no pillows. Next day we mentioned it to our TUI rep when he asked about our room. He wrote it down, and said leave it with me. when we came back from a trip out,our pillows had been delivered. The breakfast was served in a large restaurant room as 'self service'. Plenty of food choices, some dishes were 'cooked to order'. Lots of choices hot and cold food, to try. Also salads and fresh fruit. Usual breads and cakes. It got a bit rushed as the staff were trying to relay the tables before the 10am finish time. Overall the hotel had a relaxed feel. The reception staff were always attentive and happy to help with any problem. We came across a very happy lady who was so helpful in any way she could. Her name was Markella (guest relations) She listened to all our questions, and was able to suggest restaurants, and places to visit. She put our names on the list for a Greek evening in the complex, on our last day. What a lovely lady nothing was too much trouble. We got talking to the manager of the Spa, she suggested we go for a massage and she could fit us in later the next day. We did go and had a lovely massage, it was well worth it. We had a small swimming pool,(one of three) not far from our room, so it was lovely to have a swim and relax on a sunbed. The pool needs some sort of a rail around it inside, to hold on to while resting after your swim. It was very hot weather so managed to find an umbrella , some were broken so needs a bit of a spruce up around the pool! Not a lot going on in the evenings, but we did have a DJ who played some funky, jazzy music one evening. He then went on to cover the different music over the years, for about 3/4 hrs non stop. He worked very hard without a break! Unfortunately our bedroom was underneath the bar above, so we had the noise of metal chairs scraping all evening, then when closed, the staff clearing up were again scraping the metal chairs, over the floor quite late in the evening, which was so annoying .Rubber feet would do the trick! Overall the holiday was a great break,' fly and flop' as they say.

We went to the Aegeo Spa in the Miramare Resort and Spa, we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful, Effie in the nice Spa reception area, who guided us through the choice of treatments and advised which she thought my help our needs and experience. On the day of our treatment we spent time in the pool, sauna and steam room, before our treatment, the location of these were strange,situated downstairs within the changing and shower rooms, although we enjoyed our sauna, it requires a little updating and unfortunately the steam room did not live up to our expectations, only worked for a short time, we then went back upstairs to the swimming pool, great views from the pool windows but lacked ambience and again feel needed to be updated or totally re think the layout. Back to the treatment we received, absolutely excellent Georgeious N, please forgive me if I spelt this wrong and also Rupa. Georgeious N massaged my husband and got rid of his knots and also gave him some exercises to help, most attentive and very good with the massage. I had Rupa again excellent, checking if the pressure was ok and working out my knots, again amazing treatment. Would like to thank the team for an amazing experience but feel the layout and ambience were lacking.
