Oros Luxury Beach Resort

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Óros. The room was lovely, gorgeous hotel with really friendly staff. We both visited the spa, my husband for a massage which he was very happy with and I had a haircut with Gogo. Although she didn’t speak English she was so lovely and was highly recommended. She did exactly as I asked and I would not hesitate going to her again. The manager of the spa, Sasha was lovely too. The boutique shop was being managed by Rodi (Rose in n English) who was so helpful and friendly all the time. She gave me a lot of tips on where to visit locally. We would definitely go back to Oros. The one tiny negative was that the food never seemed too be quite hot enough but that certainly didn’t ruin our holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it. The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic and a stylish, welcoming atmosphere. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. Everything was spotless, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The location is also perfect, with everything you need just a walk away. We would definitely love to come back!

AVOID. No 5 stars!!! Misleading marketing : the Oros website makes believe their beach is a pristine escape with soft, white sand, blablabla. The beach is separated by a busy road (highway-ish), the sand is plain normal grey and full of cigarette buds and other stuff. When doing your Pilates near the family pool you inhale the exhaust gases of the cars and trucks. Onwards, to the adult only pool you’ll continuously smell heavy sewer odours. Staff is not client oriented nor friendly and definitely has no 5-stars quality standards. We’ve visited various 5-stars accommodations on Crete, so pick any of those to have the vacation you deserve!
