Oros Luxury Beach Resort

This Hotel is a good 5 star hotel, but could be better . The bar staff at the pool bar are great people but they can’t make a great cocktail drink. The food in the buffet is hit and miss as are the other restaurants. The hotel is very clean in every aspect the whole place is very laid back and relaxing All staff are very good and helpful, but be aware this place is in the middle of nowhere so be prepared to spend time and money to travel around .

We have had an exceptional stay at Oros beach, hotel which is aesthetically beautiful. The staff were amazing and we would like to give a shout out to Gianis in particular at the pool restaurant. From arriving it was my birthday and they had left a lovely cake and drinks for our arrival which was most welcome after our journey and late arrival. Checking in and out was smooth. The restaurant staff were helpful at breakfast and evening meals but we particularly loved the team at the pool restaurant where we opted for a later lunch. Drinks were excellent and plenty full. The room was large and we had amazing views of the hills and sea, with a side view juniors suit with pool. The pool was cold but we did brave this on a few occasions. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay, highly recommend, very clean and beautiful resort.

As a high end 4 star hotel Oros would rate 5' however there is little of the finesse of true 5 star hotel, turndown, room service / food sevice to rooms does not exist, service to pool areas is slow to non existent. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the buffet restaurant is bland and unimaginative. A particular negative is a busy and noisy main road running between the hotel and beach,. If you expect 4 stars you will be satisfied, 5 stars will disappoint

Beautiful Hotel, every Room has their own Pool, the whole Hotel is gigantic. The cleaning ladies do their Job beautifully and ask if you need any Services. The Food in the main Restaurant is really tasty and the staff, Like the médre Georgia or the waiters Are really friendly. The guest Relation did a wonderful Job of helping us. Furthermore the Manager manager himself asked us several times if we enjoy our stay. So all in all they did a good Job of making is feel Like the only guests and making out our stay quiet and peaceful. I recommend this Hotel to everyone and this is my second stay here, because the experience is undescribebel.

We recently stayed for 11 nights with our friends at the Oros Luxury Beach Resort & it certainly lived up to its name & expectations. The staff in all areas of the hotel management were happy, helpful & friendly which made our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Manolesakis, Stefan, Georgia, Dennis & Katerina. We arrived late in the evening to a very warm welcome on 21 September. We were promptly shown to our rooms & our luggage brought to us on a buggy. The area was very quiet so we had a blissful sleep in a very comfy bed. We chose a deluxe room with sea view away from the road. It was decorated in a calm neutral shade with beautiful furnishings to compliment the colour. It was very pleasant to the eye & a home from home to us as we have used exactly the same colours in our own home. Needless to say, we loved it! The bathroom was behind a screen which worked really well with a walk-in shower, separate loo & two sinks with plenty of space to put your wash bags on. So many hotels miss this detail in their layouts! The balcony overlooked the beach & the surrounding mountains so it was a joy to sit out with a glass of wine & enjoy the scenery. Breakfast the following morning was a culinary delight with a vast selection of fruits, cereals, nuts & seeds, eggs (boiled & fried), salads, cheeses & cold meats. A full English breakfast & omelettes made to the guest’s own choice were also available. The many different varieties of bread were the best we have eaten in any hotel anywhere in the world. We ate dinner in the main restaurant which again was a gastronomic feast. So much choice was available & the desserts were delicious. We also dined twice in the A La Carte restaurants; once in Madaros & once in Yaku. We had no trouble booking our choice of day & time to enjoy these two special restaurants with impeccable food & service. We hired a car to get out & about which, if you want to see other places, is a must. A private shuttle bus from the hotel into Rethymnon (even at a small cost) would have been an excellent addition to the holiday if you do not want to drive in a foreign country. The only addition we would request is an airer on the balcony (as in the rooms with a swim-up pool) to be able to dry the swimwear after a day at the pool or beach. In conclusion this was a truly perfect late vacation for us & our friends with lovely weather as a bonus. We all had a very enjoyable & memorable holiday.
