Rethymno Village

We had a wonderful stay at Rethymno Village. It’s a clean, cozy, and intimate hotel with truly excellent service and delicious food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax. What made our stay even more special was the people we met there. We got to know two amazing women, Agapi and Evangelia, who have become our dear friends. Their kindness and hospitality made our experience unforgettable. We highly recommend Rethymno Village to anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable hotel in Crete!

Stayed for a week, staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was basic but very clean and fleshed every day. The hair dryer didn’t work in the room but reception helped with any issues. It’s not 5* but doesn’t claim to be and was actually better than we expected. It’s recently been renovated so a lot of photos on here are out of date and it’s more modern now. The pool area is clean and nice, it opens at 9am and didn’t seem to be a mad rush for sunbeds and there was plenty available all day. Now for the slight negatives… the food wasn’t that great but.. it did the job. We have to remember we didn’t pay a lot so you get what you pay for. It’s very basic but managed to find something to eat every night. I personally thought it wasn’t great quality however my partner thought it was fine so I guess it’s just down to opinion. The next thing is the drinks.. now I know we didn’t pay a lot but the drinks selection isn’t great. It’s lager, wine or syrupy fizzy drinks. Any spirits or cocktails are a minimum of €6. I know it’s a basic all inclusive but to have such a poor selection of drinks was disappointing. There is no entertainment at all throughout the day or evening. This hotel is a perfect base for exploring the area and good value for money

Really lovely hotel. Room was clean, air con was welcomed due to heat. Cleaners came every day except Sunday and made our beds up with the blankets in cute bows! Pools were great, very clean and never struggled to get a sun lounger. Staff were fab, really helpful and friendly, never stopped working and smiling. Food was just what you expect for an all inclusive. We always found something for all 4 of us. Plenty of fresh fruit available. It was my son’s 19th birthday and they made a beautiful and delicious cake and presented it to him at lunch time! Great location - 2 minute walk to beach and lots of great bars, restaurants and shops. Great beach bar across the road with lovely toasties for €3!! Bus to the old town for €2. Buy tickets in shops. Would definitely visit again.

We’ve recently returned from 10 days here, and had an amazing holiday. The Reception area is lovely and staff are friendly. We had 2 rooms, both very clean. The cleaners came every day except Sunday. Food was good, plenty of choice. However some very rude people who thought they could just push in and not queue. On arrival at the hotel there were plenty of sun beds available, as it got busier it was more difficult to find one. The pool is lovely, during a heatwave we used it lots. Very clean. The hotel is in a great location over the road from a lovely beach and bus stops all around. Plenty tavernas, bars, crazy golf surrounding Pool bar area really nice, a few more options for snacks would be nice but always plenty of ice cream and cakes. It’s obvious this hotel has been renovated recently looks much nicer now than some old pictures we saw. It’s a good 3 *, we would definitely return!

Enjoying our vacation at this very moment. Great location, near to the beautiful, clean beach. Good atmosfere in the hotel with great service. Clean rooms, toilets and installation in general. Many restaurants nearby, shops and all what you need for great Hollidays. Good prices, great weather, not so hot and humid as in Spain, where we come from. Near to the hotel there's a City of Rhaethinon, which is great and beautiful place to visit. And the last, the food in the hotel is simply amazing. In the Hotel we have Typical Greek cousine with many variables each time and each day different plates to choose from. Chef is incredibly good 👌. Really recomendable.
