Stella Blue Seaside Resort (ex. Europa Beach)

We stayed at Stella Blue for 10 nights at the beginning of April and had such an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful—modern, clean, and really well maintained—and the atmosphere made it so easy to switch off and relax. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always happy to help and chat. We upgraded to a swim-up room, which was definitely worth it—such a lovely touch to be able to step straight into the pool. The minibar was restocked daily, and our cleaner was especially kind and attentive, which didn’t go unnoticed. Although we had our own pool access, we often found ourselves exploring the other pools too. There were always plenty of sun loungers available, so it never felt crowded or stressful trying to find a spot. The food was consistently tasty with a good variety, and we enjoyed every meal. The entertainment had a nice, relaxed vibe, with a DJ playing in the early evenings on a few nights, which added to the chilled atmosphere. This trip was extra special for us as we got engaged at Stella Blue. The staff truly went above and beyond to make the moment unforgettable, and we’ll always be grateful for that. Overall, we had such a memorable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

All the staff at Stella Blue, from cleaners to waiting staff to receptionists were an absolute delight. They couldn't do enough for us, anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Special phone arrangements were efficiently made for trips, taxis, and basketball. The food and drink were plenteous and of fine quality. And special praise to Wilson, Marina, Rania, and Therese, plus the Manager and Head Waitress Maria. Beautiful location right on the shore, with sandy and pebble beaches. The little church on site, sometimes used for weddings, is exquisite, a real gem. Ensure it's opened daily! A new basketball facility, even just a half-court, would be a fine addition. The musical entertainment was excellent and diverse. Upon departure from the hotel we were given a loaf of sweet bread that we will never forget. Thank you all so much.

From the moment I arrived, this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The views alone were absolutely breathtaking, every corner seemed to offer another picture perfect moment, especially during sunset. Watching the sun go down from the pool bar was honestly unreal and one of the highlights of my entire trip. The staff were incredibly attentive throughout my stay, always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. Their level of care really made the experience feel special and personal. The food was another standout. Each evening offered something different, which kept things exciting, and every meal I had was genuinely delicious. Breakfast was just as impressive, there were so many options to choose from, catering to all tastes, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The drinks were also amazing, perfectly made and ideal for relaxing by the pool or unwinding in the evening. My room was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It felt like a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. One of the things I loved most was the location. Having such a stunning beach just across the road was incredible, with some of the nicest views I have ever seen. I feel so grateful that I got to spend my first time in Crete at such a stunning hotel. It truly made the whole experience unforgettable. I could not have asked for a better place to stay, just amazing in every way.

Just back from a week here. Beautiful place with exceptional grounds and attention to detail with the decor. Our weather wasn’t great which put pressure on the facilities and the bar queues were long which I don’t see easing in the summer months. The food in able and Anime was incredible but Nomad needs more variety. There rooms were cosy but not cleaned daily which was a let down and the bath towels tiny.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how aesthetically beautiful the resort was. Every corner looked like it had been designed so carefully, and the atmosphere felt both luxurious and relaxing at the same time. What impressed me even more than the setting was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was friendly, polite, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had a great experience. It was very impressive to see how much time and effort had clearly gone into making every stay feel special. I was also shocked at how fast everyone worked while still being so attentive and kind. I was travelling by myself for most of the stay, but a huge shout out to my girl Nefeli at the pool bar, who made the experience so much more fun that I genuinely forgot I was alone most of the time. She was warm, funny, and made such a difference to my stay. The drinks were fantastic, and although I’m a picky eater so the food was not always my strongest point, I was still really impressed by the chefs and cooks. The desserts were especially lovely! Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations in so many ways, I’d 100% come back and next time I honestly would not mind staying even longer.
