Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect from the food to the entertainment. A truly beautiful and relaxing adults only escape. Stella Island combines stunning design, peaceful surroundings, and exceptional service to create a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The pools and setting are breathtaking, the food is excellent, and every detail feels carefully thought out. Perfect for a romantic and relaxing holiday, we left feeling completely refreshed and would happily return.

Absolutely beautiful. Customer service is incredible. Perfect destination for a honeymoon! Although the beach is a little sharp sanded, you really don’t need to venture out as the resort is enough to keep you happy

We booked 10 days here pretty much at random, only 3 weeks before the holiday and we certainly fell on our feet. Suitcases whisked away on arrival and a personal check-in and overview of the resort while we sipped a welcome drink. Our 1st floor room was beautiful with a massive bathroom and view over the pool and the pool bar to the left. (It closes at 8pm so there's no noise from it late at night, don't worry). The staff are all lovely - very efficient, friendly and attentive - nothing is too much trouble. The guys at the pool bar were fantastic - lovely guys and very efficient - from the first moment they made us feel very welcome. It is a real skill to give every customer great service and appear to give you all the time in the world while serving 40 people! There's a really nice, very modern gym and the landscaping and endless pools meander around the horse-shoe shaped complex. Apparently it can accomodate over 400 people but you can't tell - it is all low-rise and subtley done. Beautiful. The food is stunning and is perhaps the highlight of the place. The buffet serves an extensive range of dishes with 3 or 4 "show stations" where they hand-prepare beautiful dishes for you - fish ceviche, crispy skinned sea bass, mini burgers, etc - all presented like a top restaurant. Plus the usual buffet style salads and dishes like lasagne, chips, etc. The a la carte restaurants are amazing - the service and presentation are top notch. Honestly, you could be in a top London restaurant, it is that good. We were on the basic AI package so you get most everything but all the wine is greek, which was fine by me - I'm a big fan already. But you can buy wine by the bottle or some are included in the Premium AI package that comes with the more expensive rooms. One nice thing for a wino like me is that the greek house wines were different in each place, so you got to experience a wide range of greek grape varieties and styles, not just the same ones everywhere. A nice touch. The only issue you might find, especially when busy, is the lack of sunbeds and, especially, those that are actually IN the sun. The resort faces north so the sun rises on one side of it, throwing that side into shadow, then sets on the other side, throwing that into shadow. We were there in their last week or so of operation so the sun was lower than the summer, so maybe it's not such an issue then. All-in-all, the best hotel we've ever stayed in for service, food and facilities and that is comparing it to places like the Maldives.

This is the most amazing holiday resort. The food and drinks were fantastic but the level of staff exceeded anything expected. This was a holiday of a lifetime and can not wait to visit again.

My boyfriend and I visited Stella Island for my birthday and from the moment we walked in were welcomed with excellent service. The staff were so attentive throughout our stay and everyone truly went above and beyond making our stay as amazing as possible. There was a wide wide range of food options and the quality of food at the buffet is the best I've experienced from a hotel. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you again for making my birthday so unforgettable!
