This really should be a 5 star hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff, a welcome drink, and an upgrade to a superior room. Our luggage was taken up to our room for us, and we were shown how the air conditioning worked. The hotel is luxury, and has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Its location is perfect for the beach, a stroll of 20 minutes or so to the old town, and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants around too. We have to say a massive thank you to some of the friendliest people we have had the pleasure of meeting. Eleni, who is the Guest Relations Manager, arranged for us to have a bottle of Prosecco sent to our room, along with strawberries coated in white chocolate to accompany. This was due to us mentioning in passing it was our anniversary. Thank you Eleni - you are a credit to the hotel you work for, and this really made our stay even more enjoyable. We also met Christiane (Bijoux), who owns the jewellery shop within the hotel. We decided to just have a look at what was on offer, and we met one of the friendliest / loveliest people in doing so. Christiane made us laugh, and subsequently the days after, we made it a must to visit her to say good morning or good evening. Not only this, she does exceptional jewellery at much better prices than anywhere else we visited in Crete! Thank you Christiane for being so kind and welcoming. We were also fortunate to meet Nancy who works on reception. If you want someone to make you laugh and have a good chat with, go to Nancy. She is incredible, and again, thank you for putting a smile on our faces! Back to the hotel: Within the hotel itself there is a main pool, with lots of sunbeds, and a bar area with lots of seating. There is also an indoor pool which is heated, and also a Spa, which we didn’t use, however it was a great addition (I believe you have to book treatments in advance). There are two very friendly and loving cats who have made the hotel their home - the brown cat is called Marie, and the white and black cat is called Anne. They can be found around the pool area, and love tasty cat treats from the shop (they’ll be your friend for the remainder of your holiday if you feed them). Also give them a stroke and a cuddle, but beware Marie will try and steal the treats if they aren’t zipped away in your bag (she decided to try and steal the bag of treats which we accidentally left unattended!) The room we stayed in was on the 4th floor, it was on the road side of the hotel. It was a lovely room, cannot fault it. The bed was super comfy, has a TV, fridge (with a very small freezer), space to store your clothes in a wardrobe, a very sophisticated system to work the air conditioning / inform the maid if you wish to have your room cleaned or not. There is also a balcony, and all the other things you would expect. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels given each day. We were on bed and breakfast board, and the food was all fresh, with full English options, pastries, cereal, breads, lots of fresh fruit (strawberries, oranges, kiwi, bananas etc), coffee, juice - they had it all. Overall the hotel is very modern, and as stated at the beginning I would expect this to be a 5 star hotel. We would love to come back here in the future, mainly for the staff and the location being so close to the old town and other amenities.

We booked all-inclusive and it truly felt like it — no corners cut, no hidden catches. Just genuine hospitality from start to finish. What made our stay truly special was the staff’s help with a very personal moment: proposing to my now-fiancée. It started with an email before our arrival, which was answered warmly and enthusiastically — they immediately offered to help think through the idea and make it happen. From that first message to the moment itself, everyone was unconditionally supportive and involved. When it happened, the whole team was genuinely excited with us. That spirit carried through every part of the stay. The staff go out of their way for you without hesitation — attentive, kind, and always willing. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. You are truly looked after here.

I felt very welcomed from the beginning of my stay, reception very friendly. The guest relations team was so lovely and were really helpful. The room was so nice, the restaurant and the meals were absolutely delicious. Thank you for making my Easter celebration so special.

Fabulous hotel ! Lovely decor, staff are superb & very attentive. Pool area & food especially breakfast is really great. Lovely walk 20mins into the old town of Rethymno! Great value for money. Would highly recommend staying here.
