Theartemis Palace

Before we arrived at this hotel we had read several mixed reports but are happy to report that we have very few complaints about this hotel and would be very happy to come back The hotel itself is set up from the sea so no real point in paying extra for a side sea view. The hotel is in two sites one across the road from the other.We had been concerned about this especially as we were not going to be located in the main block.However this was totally unfounded and we actually preferred being in the smaller block which has its own small pool and houses the spa rooms.Our room was 168 which is a suite.Very large bedroom ,,loads of hanging space and lots and lots of drawers which I love.The bedroom can be divided from the lounge area with double doors and the bathroom was very large.Very large walk in shower which was amazing.Both the bedroom and lounge have separate air conditioning units so cant fault it.Rooms are made up every day and towels changed night and morning .Dressing gowns and slippers supplied. Staff in the hotel are the best especially in the dining room.Nothing is too much trouble.Food is of a high standard and plentiful.If you come to this hotel dont leave without going to the Spa.I had a full body and facial with Poppi and it was great.I personally don’t often use a spa but this has changed my mind .A wonderful experience.The hotel is a two minute walk to the beach and about a 20minute walk to the old town.Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at Theartemis Palace Hotel for the first two weeks of July, and we had an absolutely wonderful holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was delicious with plenty of choice every day, and the location is perfect – just a short walk to the beach and the lovely old town of Rethymno. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. We were a large family travelling together, and every single member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were always friendly, professional, and happy to help, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and genuine care made such a difference to our holiday and created memories we'll always cherish. A huge thank you to everyone at Theartemis Palace Hotel for making our family holiday so special. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete, and we very much hope to return in the future.

Myself and my partner had a massage at the hotels spa facilities, we had a back neck and shoulder massage and it was excellent, Giannis was very attentive to my needs and was thorough in the treatment, would highly recommend.

We where upgraded to a room with the best terrass, gigantic! A bit old room instead but okey. Clearing good, pool guy good. The staff excellent, at the reception, bars and in the restaurant. We had all inclusive and the drinks where the best ever at an all inclusive facility. The food also very good! Near to the beach and a 20 minutes walk in to the old town enjoying the sunset on the way.
