Village Heights Resort

We had an excellent holiday and would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. The food in all of the restaurants was fantastic throughout our stay, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The hotel itself was brilliant, and the play park and kids club were amazing for keeping the children entertained. We stayed in the three-bedroom villa, which was excellent for a larger family — spacious, comfortable, and very practical. The rooms were nice, basic but comfortable, although the sofas in the living room could have done with a few more cushions for extra comfort. We did the cooking and wine tasting at Mitato which we would recommend and the executive chef ran it brilliantly. A special mention to Denis and Konstantinos in Elia restaurant, who were both brilliant, as well as Simon and John at the main/pool bar for their friendly and very attentive service. George, the manager in the main restaurant, was also excellent and made us feel very welcome. Overall, an excellent holiday and a fantastic choice for anyone travelling with kids.

Village heights resort is a lovely resort up in the picturesque Cretan hills. It is out of the main hustle and bustle of Hersonissos but has a wonderful shuttle service several times a day down to the town/return and a local beach which is in a quality coach not the normal shuttle bus type of transport. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful in all departments as are the ladies in the mini market. The rooms are fairly plain in nature but spotlessly clean with wonderfully comfortable beds. There is a fabulous spa - it's only small but the treatments are incredible!!!! We have been to this resort several times and visited the spa on every visit. I would highly recommend it ... Anna is the very best therapist for massage and facials I have EVER had and I have been lucky enough to have treatments all over the world.

A very nice stay, food was very nice I had no complaints with what I had. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The available facilities there were good. The staff were very nice aswell a special mention to John and Gianna who made the stay even better as they went above and beyond for our visit. I hope to come back and visit crete and the hotel again some time. Yamassss

I had the best massage of my life with Anna. I even told her I’d book one every day if I could. I highly recommend visiting the spa and requesting Anna—she’s amazing. From start to finish, it was a great experience.
