Zeus Ydoria Resort

This hotel is lovely, we have just come back. The hotel is clean and the staff are fantastic, the reception staff take your cases to the room. There is nothing that is too much trouble. Beach/pool towels are available for €10 each and can be changed Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. There is a free safe in the room., if I had one complaint it was that the lighting is a little poor in the room that we had, a family room and the only mirror in the room is in the bathroom, not good when three adults trying to get ready at the same time, there was two tv’s in the family room but the air conditioning was only in one room. The food was fabulous, something for everyone and all tastes, tables are cleared quickly, food is being constantly filled up. The restaurant staff are very nice. There are snacks at the bar during the day from burgers, gyros kebabs, chips, chicken nuggets, pizza, salads and ice cream cones. You get cocktails on the all inclusive, they are very nice too. The bar staff are so nice and work very long hours. The animation team are very good and have fun nights after the mini disco, quizzes etc. The hotel is near shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc. it is a short walk to a pharmacy and a 20 minute bus ride into Rethymno, there are shops, bars, restaurants and a lovely harbour, buses run hourly but end at 11pm, tickets can be purchased at the local shops near the hotel. The pool areas are very clean and there are quiet ones and the children’s pool with small slides and big slides, there are life guards on the pools. All in all we had a fantastic time.

Very comfortable room, renovated. Lovely pool areas and the slides were brilliant fun for kids and adults alike. Shout out to Ricco for entertaining all ages and lifeguard manager who was so good with the kids.

I think it's a top-notch hotel; everyone is super friendly and very hospitable. Beautiful view, good rooms that are cleaned every day, clean towels, your bed is made, and if you want, you also get new duvets and pillowcases as often as you like. The food is really amazing, lots of variety such as pastas, meat, potatoes, salads, desserts and ice creams, soup, and different egg dishes like fried eggs or hard-boiled eggs, really everything. There are 4 different swimming pools and 3 small slides. Plenty of sunbeds to lie on. There is a super fun animation team; every day they do aqua gym and water polo, darts, pétanque, dancing, and in the evening there is always a mini disco and at 10 o'clock various games such as dance battles, "Who Wants to Be a Billionaire?" or karaoke night, you name it. The drinks are also great; plenty of soft drinks for the kids all day long, and for the adults, beer, wine, and cocktails are also included in the all-inclusive. Definitely recommended if you want to go on a nice family vacation.

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. Everything was simply outstanding—from the beautiful, comfortable rooms to the excellent food, which was varied, fresh, and delicious every day. What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed, valued, and cared for. Their warmth, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine desire to help created an atmosphere that was both luxurious and personal. It is rare to find a hotel where every aspect is delivered at such a high standard. We left with wonderful memories and deep appreciation for the entire team. We highly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
