We booked swimming lessons with Despoina ahead of our visit, and they worked out perfectly. She was very kind and patient, and our son’s (aged four) swimming improved significantly. He has definitely become more confident in the water, and there a lot of laughter along the way. Would highly recommend.

I came from Amsterdam to meet my family and have some quality time in this beautiful hotel . Everything was well organised and the whole staff treated us in a very friendly way made us feel we were at home . Especially Darvil who assisted us the whole time, very polite person. Seems like a very well run place well done to the management. Definitely coming back next year in this beautiful place.!

Fantastic swimming lessons! Despoina was brilliant with my yearly 4 year old —so kind, patient, and encouraging. The lessons were fun and included great games that really helped build water confidence. We initially booked one lesson, but my daughter enjoyed it so much that she immediately asked for more, so we ended up doing three! Her water confidence improved a lot which is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended.

My three-year-old son had his first swimming lesson with Despoina at Ikos Olivia last month, and it was a wonderful experience. As it was his first time in the pool, he was quite nervous and scared at the beginning. Despoina used toys, storytelling, and lots of playful encouragement to help him feel comfortable in the water. Within minutes, she was able to build a genuine sense of trust and confidence. By the end of the lesson, my son didn’t want to leave the pool and was already asking when he could swim with her again! I would highly recommend Despoina as a swimming instructor. She is patient, engaging, and has a natural ability to connect with young children. We only wish we had stayed longer so that our son could have had more lessons with her.

Before I begin I love Ikos - it’s not cheap but I know what I’m getting when I get there and this trip didn’t fail to deliver. Me and my husband visited May 29th for 5 nights in a Sea View room. We have been visiting Ikos since 2015 and this was the first Ikos we visited and then again in 2017 since then we have visited all the others except Oceania. This trip was just what we needed fab food and drinks and that overall feeling that you matter. The team are amazing and the culture has a genuine feeling that the staff are happy and really want you to enjoy yourself. One of the reasons we visited is to see Skerdi who we know from Andalusia and Porto Petro - this guy is an asset to Ikos and always wants to make sure you are having an amazing holiday. We knew it was a hotel popular with families but it didn’t put us off. We had some amazing food and one of our favourite restaurants was The Garden where Stella was welcoming with her team. Georgia was always there with a smile along with Effie but the most amazing staff member there was Agapi, she was a shining star and looked after us to such a high standard and we generally loved talking to her. We also had amazing service round the deluxe pool with Petros bringing our drinks (2 bloody Mary’s and 2 waters) without even asking! Antonia and Theodora were both always so happy to see you and to help and I have to say the drinks service around the pool I think is probably the best we have ever received. We also visited the adult pool and again the drinks service was some of the best we’ve had. Would we come again - absolutely! Would we visit Skerdi again - absolutely at any resort!
