Ikos Olivia

We are regular visitors to Ikos Olivia and always have a wonderful time. However, our stay in April was one of our best. We stayed in Deluxe and received excellent personal service from Antonia (Deluxe Manager) and her team. Antonia goes out of her way to be of assistance in any way she can and is always keen for our stay to be exemplary and it was! The room was amazing and spotless which is all thanks to the excellent housekeeping team! The Deluxe Bar Team were also great and very attentive. A special mention to Thanos, Darvil and Petros. We dined in various restaurants during our stay and want to give a special mention to Jay in Ouzo, Agapi, Dominika and Effie in The Garden and Leon who is the manager of Flavors. Wherever we dined the food was exceptional! We love staying in Olivia and look forward to more visits.

Best hospitality resort, food experience, facilities and comfort

When it comes to 5 star indulgence there are other hotels and then there is Ikos. Never have we stayed at a hotel or resort where the level of service and staff attitudes has been so high-level (and we only ever stop at 5* hotels). From the pre-holiday reservations at the al a carte restaurants to the checking in experience right through the holiday itself - and our ultimate departure - we have never experienced a hotel that provides the level of service that Ikos Olivia does. As Vegans, we met up with dietitian Eleni who made it clear that should we not be happy with the options available at each restaurant that we should let her know and additional choices would be made available - and she kept checking this up with us throughout our stay. The same could be said about Smaro who visited us at dinner a few times to ensure that we were happy with everything and constantly enquired as to where they could do better. We stayed in a Deluxe Collection Bungalow with private garden which was lovely and spacious - my only issue being that the shower was very small compared to the overall size of the accommodation and the water was not always as hot as we would have liked. The standard of cleaning each day was excellent and each day the water and mini bar was re-stocked. One morning we missed this as we had 'Do not disturb' on the door but within TWO minutes of requesting this on the wonderful WhatsApp communication they have set up there was a knock on the door to do so - AMAZING!!!. We enjoyed afternoon room service on three occasions and the food was excellent and always delivered hot and with a smile. All of the food in the a la carte restaurants was very good - with several vegan options available - the standout food being at Anaya, Fresco and Ouzo. Having said this the vegan dessert options were generally poor - Sorbet or fruit salad in most restaurants and this could easily be improved. My only other issue is that the evening 'bars' are very noisy and not at all conducive to a relaxed and quiet evening cocktail - but as a family friendly complex this is unavoidable unless a small adults only bar was to be made available in the evening - just as The Garden Restaurant is made adults only for breakfast. Out of the hotel and onto the beach we were able to work literally for miles along the beautiful coastline - with the left hand turn becoming our favourite as it was just cove after cove of serene beach and beautifully clear water. (The right hand side is nice but initially quite 'industrial'). Now, back to the hotel itself: Every single requirement that we made was met by the most wonderful staff who work within a hotel, restaurant and garden environment that is absolutely pristine wherever you go. Virtually Every single member of staff that we encountered was attentive, smiling polite and professional and if we DID raise the odd issue it was dealt with immediately and without question. Having praised all staff it is only right that we acknowledge those individuals that stood out for us - and they are as follows: (Apologies if we have forgotten anybody). Darvill - Deluxe Bar - What an amazing young man he is - always going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful service. Petros - Deluxe Bar - Always a smile on his face and a joy to behold. Nicos - Deluxe Bar and everywhere else it appears - such a helpful and professional young man. Agapi - The Garden - Aways happy - always professional and a joy to behold. Dominika - The Garden - Again - always so very happy and helpful. Effie - Serene and smiling and just wonderful. Thomas - Lobby Bar - ever smiling and professional. Eva - Fresco - The ultimate host and professional employee. Nickolas - Fresco - Always looking after us to make sure everything was perfect. Katerina - Anaya - Who made our visit an experience and not just a meal. Leon - Buffet - Always there to ensure that everything we needed was made available. Smaro - Deluxe Collection - Just perfect at what she does. Eleni - Again - the perfect individual to ensure that diet-wise we were catered for with everything that we needed - and constantly checking so, Overall a most wonderful holiday that we would probably not have considered previously based on the fact that it is All-Inclusive and Family Friendly but I have to say that - despite just being an adult couple - we are 'hooked' and will definitely be returning to Olivia as well as exploring the other Ikos resorts. We had an exceptional time at Ikos Olivia. We could want for nothing. We stayed in a deluxe collection 1 bedroom garden bungalow and it was beautiful. The housekeeping team were consistent and we had the opportunity to select our own pillows! Which made for such a comfortable sleep every night. It was also lovely to have tv’s in both the living room and bedroom as we like to have noise to sleep. The garden was beautiful and the bathroom was exceptional I prefer a bath my husband prefers a shower and it was great to have both. The food is some of the best food I’ve ever eaten we got to try all the restaurants and they are all exceptional. Flavours does the most incredible desserts I’ve ever had. The garden does in my opinion the best breakfast, Ouzo does the best dinner with a close tie to Anaya. So much choice you never get bored and we stayed for 9 days! We were on our honeymoon and it’s a very kid friendly hotel but they make special arrangements for adults only sections which made the experience so much more joyful for us. The use of the deluxe pool was special and mostly always had it to ourselves. The cocktails are so lovely and they have a huge range. The concierge service is 10/10 and always on hand via WhatsApp to help you with whatever you need they were amazing. Our only small issue is that we both don’t have driving licenses and to get to thessonaliki or other tourist spots is quite expensive by taxi especially as just a couple not too bad if you are splitting with a big group. But in the deluxe you get the use of a mini for one or two days so it’s perfect if at least one person drives! We’d also recommend this place to couples and families they cater to children so well. The spa is beautiful I had two treatments there and felt incredible afterwards they are so calm and make you feel very safe. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience and would stay again! We will try other ikos resorts in the future x

Just back from Ikos Olivia with the boys and we had a great time. Resort is in top shape, food is genuinely good everywhere, and the service across the board is what makes this place stand out. Overall 10/10 A few people we want to call out: Antonia at the Deluxe concierge — looked after us from the moment we arrived, always one step ahead. Thanos and Petros at the Deluxe bar — good drinks, good chats, made it our spot. Vicky, manager at The Garden and a really strong sommelier. Her wine pairings made the dinners even better. The star at Ouzo, Lefteris Last but not least, Leon at Flavours — our hero of the week. Nothing was too much, and the boys loved him. Sports activities were also a big win with the kids. Plenty to do, well run. Thanks to the whole team. We’ll be back! We also visit other Ikos resorts like Andalusia and Aria. Ikos Olivia has the best service so far. Be aware it is also kids friendly which comes with the related sounds:-)
