TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess

Rooms were lovely, we were upgraded to swim up pool and were very happy. Staff all excellent in bar , Taverna and Green Grill all extremely helpful, cheerful and polite. Sunbeds readily available at beach and pools. Food, not great. Scrambled eggs were green and more like omlette. No poached eggs. Fried eggs were frazzled and often hard. Lots of pots of saucy chopped up meat in main restaurant. Currys, stifado, chicken or pork in white sauce or brown sauce. Mostly pork, very little plain carved meat or grilled meat in the evening. The Green Grill did have carved rotisserie chicken some days and gyros served every . No carvery at all in main restaurant. Lots of greek options zucchini pie and zucchini fritters, cheese balls and spinach pies, stuffed veg, calamari and some overcooked fish. No cheese station for cheese and biscuits. Fruit plentiful and nice. Drinks...wine of all types were sour. Cocktails not great either. Prosecco okay. Hot dogs and crepes from food stalls all lovely. Entertainment mostly bad amateurish..one lady singer was good. She sang well in Greek and English and looked the part. The singer with the piano man looks like your granny has turned up to sing a couple of old songs. Amphitheatre dancers were not professional looking at all and there were no real musical style shows. Animation team were good, but the schedule seemed to start while most people were at lunch, so our children often missed the start. Mozzies are very hungry, so insect repellant is a must. Visit Afytos at night, its charming and has a wonderful vibe.

Pros You can get a sun bed any time of the day. This is a huge win and puts this hotel above so many others for this reason alone. We came to the pool at 2:30pm having been at the water park and there were loads of beds, even in prime spots. The food was varied, hot and tasty. No complaints. I could have lived off the Greek salad and tzatsiki alone tbh. The staff are all friendly. Everywhere is spotless. Our son enjoyed the activities around the pool, kids club and evening entertainment. Transfer was 50 mins and very straightforward. Drinks service to your sunlounger is great. We didnt have this at Tui Blue Aura. No mosquitos for us, despite being bite prone. We didn't even use repellent. Spa was amazing. Beach is beautiful. Cons Its annoying to not be able to get snacks by the family pool. The lack of English TV channels is annoying. We dont watch much TV on holiday but not even having the option isnt great. Toilets seem miles away from everywhere, especially for the evening entertainment! Our shower was diabolical! It was barely a trickle so we had to use the hand held ones which was fine but not ideal. I cant imagine an easy fix so we didnt bother reporting. There was a family playing music from a speaker near us at the pool which was very annoying as it clashed with the music the hotel were playing! I found it hard to relax having competing music on either side of me. Not that the behaviour of guests can be blamed on the hotel. The amount of plastic waste is unbelievable. Water machines are very much needed here. Plastic straws in plastic wrapping too. There really is nowhere to go for a walk. We knew this but its undeniably a downside of the hotel.

We are currently staying here at the beginning of August 2026. The location was probably one of the downsides for us, as there is very little to do around the hotel itself. We got a taxi to the next peninsula and found there was much more going on there, with more places to visit and things to do. The hotel itself is lovely and the overall cleanliness is very good. Our room was cleaned daily and the hotel grounds and communal areas were always kept to a good standard. The rooms are a good size and having two bathrooms made getting ready as a family much easier. The food was the biggest disappointment. It was often barely warm and, although we managed for a week, I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer with the food as it was. There is a small hut serving crepes, hot dogs, toasties and other snacks which are made fresh to order. The staff there were always really helpful and, unfortunately, this was probably the only consistently hot food I ate during our stay. Breakfast also finishes at 10am. Being two hours ahead of the UK, this effectively felt like 8am to us, so getting everyone up and ready in the mornings sometimes felt a little rushed. There are plenty of pools around the hotel and the water is a lovely temperature. One massive positive was that there were absolutely no sunbed wars! Whatever time of day we went to the pool, we could always find somewhere to sit, which made the holiday much more relaxing. The beach is only a short walk away and the sea is lovely and warm. There are also pedalos available to hire, which is a nice option if you want to spend some time out on the water. Overall, the hotel itself is lovely, clean and well maintained, with good-sized rooms, plenty of pools and a nice beach nearby. However, because of the food and the lack of things to do in the immediate area, I wouldn't personally choose to return.

After reading the previous reviews of this hotel, I was slightly apprehensive about coming. However, I feel compelled to write review after spending a week’s holiday here. Cleanliness- I cannot fault this hotel! Staff are up at the crack of dawn cleaning all areas of the hotel. It is spotless. Our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided in the room and you can get new towels for the pool using a card provided at the start of your stay. The pools- you have so many choices and not once did we have the battle of the sun beds. The only thing I found disappointing is that the children’s pool with the little pirate ship isn’t under cover so if your child is in the water, there’s not much of an escape from the sun. In all honesty it was fine and took breaks in and out of the water. Food and drink- this was my biggest concern. This is a family resort they have to cater for all!! You are going to a family all inclusive. In my honest opinion you get what you expect from booking a family all inclusive!! The hotel have definitely listened to feedback provided by guests and the food is at suitable temperature and well cooked. Some nights dishes were bubbling ! Is it five star? Probably not but it’s definitely four. Drinks are absolutely fine ! Plenty of choice. It was slightly disappointed the Al a carte option wasn’t available to book as it was booked up very quickly but it is what it is. Entertainment. The hotel is huge. You have options for all. It was lovely to have choice. My 2 year old loved the mini disco and Jurassic park show! We had the best week. Thank you Tui !

A friend of mine stayed here a few years ago and absolutely raved about it, so we were really looking forward to our holiday. After reading some of the more recent online reviews, we started to worry that our experience might not live up to the recommendation. Thankfully, we couldn't have been more wrong! The hotel was absolutely fantastic, and my friend was completely right. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself was lovely, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We thought the food was varied and of a really good standard. A particular highlight was the gyros from the Green & Grill lunchtime restaurant—they were absolutely delicious and became a firm favourite during our stay. The pool was great. Although the water was quite cold, that was to be expected at that time of year. We never had any trouble finding sunbeds, which made the whole experience much more relaxing. We travelled with our two boys, aged four and two, and they had a wonderful time. The entertainment team were fantastic and always encouraged the children to join in with activities without ever being pushy. Our boys can be a little shy and hesitant to get involved, so we really appreciated how patient and welcoming the team were. It made a huge difference and helped them build their confidence throughout the holiday. We had an amazing stay and made some wonderful family memories. We can't wait to come back again!
