TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess

Please do not take into account any of the negative reviews, we have just returned from a week at the end of May, we can not find any fault in the hotel at all, yes, the location is very remote and not close to any local towns but if you want a hotel just to unwind and relax , this is the place, everything is clean, the rooms are spacious and well presented, grounds all well maintained and staff all very polite and helpful,food in the main restaurant is very good, a variety of everything, we booked the two A La carte restaurants, green and grill and taverna, very good and a nice change from the buffet. We also had lunch in both of these restaurants and a nice variety, we also tried the snack bar which served crepes, hot dogs, ice creams , cakes. There are numerous pools around, we opted for the pools by the taverna, this had a bar and was around 50 yards from the beach, the beach had umbrellas and beds which were free to use , slightly stone/sandy beach with lovely clear waters, pedlos and jet skis to hire. We sat outside the bar area in the evening, where there were singers which were acceptable, some good sing alongs, There are hundreds of house martins nesting under the balconies of the hotel , constantly feeding their young, not a problem at all, We can not find one fault with this hotel, comments have said the staff are rude, far from it, everyone we came across were polite and always welcoming, the cleaners were always working hard. Would definitely return some time in the future, the management should be proud of their team.

I travelled to Greece from the UK for a week and am currently coming to the end of my 7-night stay at the TUI Lagoon Princess. I have to say that this hotel is, without a doubt, the cleanest and most comfortable hotel I have stayed in for a long time. The rooms and hotel grounds are spacious, and there are multiple pools, bars, and snack stations to enjoy. There is also a lovely buffet restaurant with a wide variety of food to suit all tastes. In addition, there are two other restaurants within the complex, giving guests plenty of choice. The hotel has a beautiful private beach with sun loungers available for guests to relax on. There is entertainment every evening, as well as a range of activities throughout the day. There is also a shop within the hotel should you need any additional items, such as pool accessories or gifts. The staff are incredibly professional and friendly, always going above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I would highly recommend staying here. My experience has been fantastic from start to finish. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel and grounds some minor things stopping it being 5/5. I’ve written this review as I read previous very negative reviews that made us question whether or not to keep our original booking here. The lesson I learned is take those reviews with a pinch of salt. We travelled at the end of May and clearly fell between it being quieter and their season really beginning on the weekend we were staying. So I can understand why some people think service might be slow or not enough staff as we noticed a real uplift, the work the staff do across the board is immense though. Yes there is the odd staff member who’s not happiest in their roles who hasn’t had a bad day at work though. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and really kept to a high standard. Everyone for gardeners , cleaners , lifeguards , bar and restaurant staff are always keeping on top of things. The hotel grounds are spacious the way things are set out gives you space, and feels relaxed. The pools have plenty of sun-beds, are clean and keep to a timetable So there’s no reserving of the beds. The beach is on the doorstep and is a little stormy but mostly sand. There is someone there constantly tidying up and keeping beds usable by sweeping them. Also plenty of beds on the beach. We had a suite which for 2 adults and 2 kids was one of the best rooms we’ve ever had for space. The kids room could be partied of with lockable doors and we had 2 bathrooms and 2 balcony doors so everyone was happy. The room was cleaned everyday and was properly cleaned at that. Food wise I undersold people think things can get bit boring. However there was always choice if you’re willing to try things if anything I was hoping for more Greek offerings. The entertainment team work hard as long as you’re not expecting the West End the shows tick along. They do have other live music it’s good for the background. In terms of location it is remote even the closest village is quiet with a lot of holiday rentals. We ran along the beach into the village a few times nothing was open but I knew that before we left so we enjoyed the peace. There are a few things stopping this being a 5* review. We could only book 1 speciality restaurant despite booking it when we got there. And sadly the meal seemed to be a better presented version of the Buffett. Plus Items were missing of orders. It could just of been bad luck on my part but spoiled the experience. We tried to book 2 boat tripes one was cancelled for weather fair enough. The other however I booked using the app as suggested by dozens of posters in the rep office. For it to be accepted and then cancelled last thing the night before. As according to the Rep on the app they get “ Oversubscribed” and was told very patronisingly I should have booked with them ! Even though they suggest using the app Drinks wise they’re good with a wide selection for all inclusive but the beer sadly is awful I know it’s brewed for the tourist market but there’s plenty that are that taste better. Checking in took way too long not enough staff considering a whole coach arrived no welcome drink etc it’s the little things that push Hotels up a little. Would I recommend the hotel though absolutely it’s beautiful, the staff are are great and work so hard. Just don’t let the little things get in the way. You did Greece proud 🇬🇷 enough

We had a private swim up which was absolutely Perfect! We have a child with special needs so it was really ideal for when she couldn’t cope around the main pool and we would just go back to our room. The pools were cold but it’s may so it’s a given and wasn’t an issue. The hotel is lovely and clean maids are working all the time! Food was okay, wasn’t the best we’ve had on an AI but we found something each day. AI drinks were lovely, small plastic cups so I get why people take Stanley flasks to fill up . Bottles of water which was nice as could grab bottles and when. Cocktails were lovely and so was the service from the staff! We got told if we wanted to book at the restaurant we would need to do it the day before, we went to reception on our second day and then got told it’s fully booked until we leave which was a shame! Entertainment wasn’t the best we’ve seen at an AI but I can’t fault the team and the effort they do put in with the children . Inflatables are a ridiculous price at this hotel , so I would bring some with you or hope that someone is leaving some behind. It is very remote so if you’re looking for somewhere in the middle of everything this wouldn’t be the hotel for you. Restaurant staff were friendly , VERY quick at clearing your plates . Hotel all in all is stunning, the beach was lovely and we glad we experienced the blue lagoon for our family holiday!
