TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess

We stopped for just the week , hotel location is very close to a quiet beach but in a secluded area. We found the hotel to be clean , staff were friendly in all areas of the hotel . We enjoyed the food and we were glad that they stuck to mostly a greek theme . Pools were well maintained and cleaned and all manned by life guards .As I mentioned early there isn't much in the local area , a supermarket is about a 10minute walk and there are a couple of coffee shops , gift shop and 2 old restaurants . Most people in this Kalives area are farmers and involved with growing olives 🫒 , so picturesque old Greek town it isn't. We booked on 2 trips through Tui , Afitos by night and a day trip to Thessaloniki , which we enjoyed and I'm glad we did because booking so late in the season we didn't get as much sun as we would have wanted . If you want explore Halkidiki like other reviewers have said it would be a good idea to hire a car . On a personal note our only downsides to the hotel is there wasn't much entertainment for adults and they catered for younger families really . Overall we enjoyed our week at the hotel and my criticisms are really personal preferences.

Overall a very average hotel. Having stayed at multiple TUI blues previously this hotel falls far far below the standard I've gotten used to from blue hotels. Came end of September, entertainment had moved inside and for the first few nights you could hear the sound of them moving onstage over the sound from the speakers! Felt very sorry for the entertainment team who gave it their all regardless. Sound issues were resolved by the Saturday. The indoor entertainment area was cramped with only one person serving at the bar so big drink Ques were standard Food was below average most days in the dining area, although the green and grill and taverna were a highlight. I find a huge irony that they advertise a flat screen TV in your room as a selling point, if your planning on going as a family and thinking its ok because you can take the kids back to the room early to watch TV and have a drink! Don't bank on it unless BBC news 24 is the only channel you enjoy! We were told by the TUI rep that's the only English channel available! I did point out that's a very loose definition of English TV available. The fact the reception staff had a countdown to end of season actively displayed sums up the experience! They were waiting to close and it very much came across that way. The beach is lovely, and bar staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained! I do however have to agree with many reviews here that this hotel falls far below expectations of a TUI blue let alone a 5* blue This hotel is definitely not worth the prices it advertises at. Feels such a shame to write such a negative review we've always enjoyed our TUI holidays this one just fell short, which is disappointing for our first holiday in Greece.

Absolutely loved this hotel and had the best stay here. The food was lovely and so varied. The buffet is massive and has a proper kids food section with lots of different dishes aimed at kids. They also had little welcome drinks at the entrance for dinner time with little cocktails of the day, for adults and even for the kids. The pools were great and plenty for the kids to do, with a couple of slides and splash pool. There is plenty of bars. The lobby bar is open all day and is air conditioned, which is a bonus when you’re nap trapped and don’t want to sit in your room to keep the babies cool. The drinks were amazing. There was so much choice and they actually tasted great! There is constant activities for all ages, so it never felt like there wasn’t anything to do if you didn’t want to sit by the pool all day. The kids disco was by far, the best kids disco we have ever been to. It was so lively and upbeat and our toddler loved it! Even our 7.5 month old enjoyed it! This was by far the best holiday we have had, with so much to do but also being able to relax if you wanted to. Would absolutely be back!

Absolutely perfect family holiday – we want to go back already! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent 11 nights at TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess in August 2026 and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. Everything about our holiday was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredible and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Our little boy felt so included and welcomed throughout the whole stay, which meant so much to us as a family. The evening entertainment was brilliant, with something to enjoy every night. We enjoyed the routine we had of watching the kids entertainment and then taking part in the quiz as a family! The food choices were also fantastic, with plenty of variety every evening, including the themed nights. We also ate at the à la carte restaurant one evening and wow — it was brilliant! The little touches really made a difference too. Drinks were brought to our sunbeds and orders were taken at the table, which made relaxing around the pools even better. There were also drinks waiting in our fridge when we arrived, which was a lovely welcome. The whole hotel was incredibly clean and well looked after. We stayed in a jacuzzi room, which was perfect for us. The room was cleaned every day and the beds were always made/changed and everything kept lovely and fresh. The pools are absolutely beautiful and, despite the hotel being busy, it never felt overcrowded. There were no stressful sunbed wars, no long queues at mealtimes and plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The beach is also conveniently located just across the road. What really stood out for us was how relaxed and enjoyable everything felt. We could properly switch off, enjoy ourselves and make some amazing family memories. We’ve only been home a short while and we already want to go back! I have had some really negative experiences elsewhere, and this was meant to be our last holiday abroad for my Husband because I couldn’t do it anymore, but this has completely changed my mind. I want to come back already! We would absolutely recommend TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess, especially for families. Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday so special🤍

Not a 5star hotel really disappointing I would say a 3star at most. Food was cold, heat lamps over food did not keep food warm. Restaurant was supposed to be open until 9pm but plates and food were being taken away at about 8.50 and at 9.05 the cleaners were in with carts and mops and buckets and were waiting for you to finish your meal. Drinks are not served you go and collect from a section of the restaurant - a bit like a canteen service. Main bar was also disappointing only local drinks were included in all inclusive and there were price lists for drinks. Room was okay, in the room we stayed in there was a fridge but nothing was left in it we filled it up ourselves with water and milk and soft drinks and luckily we took our own vodka and Jack Daniels as we got it from the airport. No tea and coffee was left luckily I took my own and room wasn’t always cleaned every day. Transfer was delayed by 30 mins and we were not told just left in reception
