We stayed the last week of the season- we were not aware of this until we arrived so just a heads up for anyone planning on travelling next year There were some really good parts of our stay but in all honesty this was not a 5 star experience The transfer from the airport was around an hour, we had to wait around 15/20 mins on the coach for other passengers to land and get through security but the journey was fine The room was amazing, we had a private pool room and it was clean, spacious, and well looked after, Housekeeping came every morning and also did a turn down service in the evening which was lovely. We also had a fab location, very quiet and not overlooked and the terrace got sun from sunrise until 5-6pm which was not the case for some rooms, so we were super lucky with this The hotel itself is super clean and well looked after. It has multiple pools- no one was using these due to the cold but we were expecting this, we travelled in october so it is the chance you take, however we got so lucky with the weather We had an issue with our room key on 2 occasions and had to get maintenance to come and let us in on the 2nd occasion when the key failed The staff were very friendly and helpful There were several bars open and the drinks were what you expect from an all inclusive- the cocktail strength did depend on who was making them but you find what you like, the red and rose wine was drinkable but I would steer clear of the sparkling wine The entertainment- I dont know if this was due to the end of season but in the main bar it was just a singer every night, there was a kids disco downstairs but nothing really for adults The food was where the experience was lacking for us to be honest. Yes its all inclusive and you cant expect 5 star restaurant food, and we didnt go hungry during our stay but almost everything was either fried, or in pastry. Over in the corner of the buffet almost hidden away is a great array of fresh salads so if deep fried/pasty is not your thing I recommend heading there first. The food was overwhelmingly salty as well which is why we stuck to the salads - sadly not an option for breakfast where even the fresh fruit is from a tin and quite sickly sweet The snack bar only sells sandwiches and crepes so could use more variety We went to the Green and Grill for lunch and this was better- the pizza was very good and they had more pasta dishes, we also went there for dinner which was great, really good food We went to the taverna for lunch once but the food was bland and watery, the staff did not seem interested in offering drinks or clearing the plates so we cancelled our dinner reservation there We did have a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed it but it didnt feel like a 5 star holiday if I am being totally honest

Travelled as a family - 2 adults and a 1 year old. Noting we travelled in the very last week of the season and left the day before the hotel shut. This did impact restaurant availability, and generally met things were quieter, bars were shutting down, landscaping was clearly being prepared for winter. The good: - very clean - very polite, friendly and engaged staff despite it being the end of season who were absolutely wonderful with our 1 year old daughter - nice big well appointed rooms - food was interesting, varied and tasty (except the last day or two when it got a little low in options) - Al La Carte restaurants were tasty and very big portions - The few small problems we had were dealt with very quickly - nothing is ever perfect, but how they are dealt with makes all the difference, and these were dealt with very well. - Fantastic entertainment and activities for children, even babies. The baby club was lovely, the little activities they set up in the morning were great (toys, painting, books etc) - Beach was fairly nice - sea was nice and calm and quite warm even in October! - Great selection of high chairs even had the classic white Ikeas ones with trays (if you know you know!) - Lovely spa and massage The bad (nothing was particularly bad, just some things to note): - cocktails were very "all inclusive" - i.e. all a bit sweet and samey. No espresso maritins, mojitos, margheritas etc. which would have been nice - The pools were FREEZING. Apparently the indoor was heated - it was Baltic in there. Many a shivering, blue-lipped child came out of that pool! - Evening seating in the lobby was a little tight - I do wonder where everyone would sit if the hotel was full - Showers flood the bathroom - The material they use for the paths throughout the entire hotel is a cement/gravel type situation - so anyone with newly walking toddlers beware, our daughter had a number of falls where she ended up with big grazes on her face/hands/knees. - the kids playground needs a bit of TLC overall, we had a really pleasant stay. It would have been good to know we were booked for the last week of the season when we did the booking just so we were aware(this is a first choice issue really, but just noting for anyone thinking of travelling in October in the future) , but generally it didn't massively impact us. Thanks to the team for the room upgrade and to everyone who was so lovely to our daughter!

Fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff and great food. Booked as a last minute holiday for myself and my wife to get away for a few days and chill after a difficult year. It was just what we needed, not much around the hotel but if you want a quiet holiday then this is it.
