Akti Beach Club

We are nearing the end of a 7 night stay in the adults only area of this hotel. The location is okay, either a 45 minute walk into Kardemena or there is a free bus run by the hotel throughout the day. It is near a small beach, but this isn't very pleasant. The rooms are functional, but could do with a refresh as they look worn (fridge in a cupboard, which doesn't fit, so the door is constantly open etc.). They do have plenty of storage though, which is good. The pool areas are varied, with some quiet ones and an activity pool. Unfortunately, the sunbeds are uncomfortable and many are broken. They are often covered in bird poo, which does not appear to get cleaned. It is also quite windy, so there can be debris in the adults pool, but this isn't the fault of the hotel. The hotel provide towels, but they are really threadbare and torn. We tried both the main restaurant and the adults only one. Neither are great. There's a good choice of food, but it is often cold and not replenished quickly. The drinks are also poor, pre made cocktails that just tasted awful, warm beer. They do have some good named brands though, (Bailey's and Malibu), which is good. Entertainment isn't great, but this doesn't bother us, we are happy to sit and chat or play cards. The family entertainment area is simply rows of plastic chairs, no tables and just functional. The adults only entertainment was around a hour each evening and just okay. Most of the staff were really lovely, they work long hours in the heat and are mainly friendly and professional. Overall, the holiday was just okay. If it was our main holiday I would be really upset, but it was just a quick break. Kardemena is beautiful and I would certainly return, but not to the Akti Beach Club.

lovely hotel we were in the adults only section and it was fantastic rooms are lovely modern and clean room 1823 staff all very friendly annd helpful food always hot and enough choice for us pools were cold drinks all prepared with a smile definately will return

I came on June 14th for 11 nights with my partner and child frommthe start Was amazing hotel staff was nice the entertainment for my 4 year old child was amazing the free shuttle bus to kardemena was amazing service I would 100% recommend this hotel
