We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kos and would happily recommend it. We travelled with our 8 month old baby and were delighted to be upgraded to a suite on arrival, which made our stay even more comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, polite and always happy to help. The food offered a good variety and we really enjoyed our meals. A lovely touch from the housekeeping team was creating towel animals in our room – it was such a nice surprise and made us smile every day. The only downside for us was that there is no entertainment around the pool during the day and in the evenings. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely consider returning. Thank you to all the staff for making our first family holiday such a memorable one!

Our holiday at the Apollon Hotel in Kos was absolutely incredible, largely thanks to the fantastic team. From the moment we checked in, Poppy on reception welcomed us with so much warmth. She was so helpful and attentive throughout our entire stay. Another massive standout was our cleaner, Lilly Ann. She is truly exceptional! Every day we returned to a spotless room, and her beautiful, creative towel-folding designs topped with fresh flowers completely blew us away. It was such a lovely, thoughtful touch. The food was absolutely great every single day and never repetitive. For breakfast, they had excellent choices including eggs, bacon, sausage, and beans—which I know a lot of British guests look for and appreciate! The evening theme nights were also brilliant, with the Greek and Asian nights definitely standing out as our favourites. We were also incredibly impressed when the General Manager, Stilianos, took the time to sit and eat with us. He was so welcoming and made us feel like valued guests. The entire staff is outstanding and they truly go above and beyond. We stayed from 20th June until 4th July in room 258 and had the best time. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back! - Paul & Vilma

Stayed here for a week and was really impressed. The hotel has clearly been refurbished and is smart and modern. All the staff were friendly. The food was a particular highlight. Everything was an excellent quality and varied each evening. I would highly recommend.

This hotel has too many guests and not enough loungers unless you were up and at the pool by before 8am, lots of towels were already on beds by then, try after 10am and there's no chance. We spent most days at one of the many beach bars along the front which were lovely but cost a lot of money when you've already paid for an all inclusive holiday. Maids knocking at 7am far too early. Food was mediocre, and there were a lot of flies on the food which was horrible. Beer at the bar served half full in paper cups. Room had two single beds pushed together but were comfortable enough. We paid for a room with sun loungers on terrace but the sun didn't get to them until after 2 pm. There were a lot of noisy guests at rooms at night disturbing the peace. The walk to Kos town was 30 mins in searing heat, trying to dodge the millions of scooters and bikes on the narrow pavements. This is definitely not worthy of a four star and I'm disappointed with the money we paid for this. Have stayed in far better in Kos previously.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very warm welcome by reception and all staff were friendly and helpful. Plate of fresh fruit and a bottle of water in the fridge. Stayed in room 158 which had a great pool view. Room and balcony was spacious. Plenty of shelving in the bathroom. Two single beds pushed together but very comfortable. No bedside cabinet but fixed shelf so you cannot separate the beds. Kettle with tea and coffee provided. Good air-con. Free safe. Cleaned daily. Could do with an airer on the balcony as no where to dry swimwear and towels. The whole complex was very clean. The swimming pool was nice and big enough considering how many people were around the pool. Sunbeds were fine but prefer ones with a mattress. Little chance of getting a sunbed after 10am, particularly if a group, but as we get up early it wasn't a problem for us. It wasn't people coming down early and saving beds. Most people saved their beds when coming down for breakfast, there is just not enough sun beds. Great choice for breakfast. Can't comment on dinner as we were not all inclusive. Kos Town had loads of great restaurants. We walked the first day and in the heat took 30 minutes. Taxi 8 euros but on last night none available, so took the bus which stops just by the hotel and it was fine although 15 mins late. Would stay here again.
