Apollon Windmill

This hotel was probably the cleanest we have ever been to the service from all the staff from reception to the cleaners to the staff serving breakfast in the morning was first class,lovely choice for breakfast freshly cooked omlettes or crepes and a varied choice of cereals,fresh fruit,and cold meats and cheeses also fresh bread and plenty of juices or tea and coffee.The gardens were immaculate,so was the pool area.We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the à la carte restaurant of the Apollon Windmill Hotel. A special thank you to Socrates, who provided exceptional service throughout our meal. He was professional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. His excellent hospitality made our evening truly enjoyable and memorable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the outstanding service from Socrates made the experience even better. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We honestly can't fault this hotel. From the moment we arrived, later than expected because of our flight delay, we had a warm welcome from Slava. Slava also helped us at the end of out holiday with a late checkout and could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Elektra on reception was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well-maintained in all areas. Good wi-fi which is free of charge throughout the hotel. Pool towels are free, no charge or deposit and you can exchange whenever you want. Our room by the pool was lovely, comfortable bed and pillows, a fridge and a seating area. Toiletries provided in the bathroom, the shower was powerful with no shortage of hot water. The shower cubicle was open to the bathroom and we always seemed to soak the floor, bathrobes would have been nice but these are very minor points. Maria and the breakfast team looked after us very well, Maria particularly always had a smile and a greeting and remembered our coffee order every day. The breakfast was varied and plentiful with the option to have some freshly cooked items e.g. omelettes, crepes, pancakes, different types of egg. It was kept fully replenished throughout the service times. There were menu options for lunch and dinner, but we were out most days so didn't use these until the last day when we had a late lunch before leaving for the airport and that was very good. The hotel is off the main road so you aren't bothered by any road noise, in fact once our doors were closed the room was soundproof. Efficient air-conditioning. The hotel is about a 35 minute walk into Kos old town where there is so much to see. There are a number of good restaurants close to the hotel if you don't want to venture too far, we had lovely food wherever we ate. Very close to the pebbly beach so I would recommend beach shoes to make it easier getting in out of the water which is calmer on this side and crystal clear. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody; we would definitely return. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. A special thank you to Sokratis and Maria at the restaurant. They were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Their excellent service, warm attitude, and genuine hospitality made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future!
