Atlantica Beach Resort Kos

Amazing location. Pool side and hotel right on the sea front. You can be sat on your lounger pool side with the beach and sea right behind you. Plenty of loungers around the pool or the grass next to the pool. You never have issues finding one, it’s easy enough & we were always looking for 4 together! Barefoot beach bar located next to the pool, with plenty of relaxing seating (sofas and chairs) around if you want to sit in the sun or shade. Only a 2 min walk to the snack bar serving a good variety of foods from gyros, hotdogs, burgers, pizza, nuggets & chips. Also a salad bar, yoghurt, fruit and cake. There is a covered seating area to sit & enjoy your food which led to the Amos beach side bar which you can sit in the shade and have drinks enjoying the beautiful views. Pool was the best pool I’ve ever had. It cooled you down but wasn’t too cold at all. You never experienced that apprehensive feeling of “ok, it’ll take me a few mins to adjust and get used to it”. You instantly got used to the temperature. The best bit was the deep end was a proper deep end. I could stand on the bottom gabbing my other half’s ankles with her head above surface - because of this the children would stay on the shallow end and you could just do lengths with no bother - it was big enough for everyone to have ample space. There was also an adults only pool on the front side of the hotel but we never used it - it looked nice enough. Food - brilliant. You know the deal with all inclusive but this was always fresh & being replaced as the food got emptied regularly but was never left empty. Good variety of things to eat and never really felt the same thing at all. Mum inlaw has gluten free diary requirements due to coeliac and they was so attentive to accommodate her by taking her around each of the dishes to let her know what was ok and cooked her fresh gluten free pasta on request or provided her with gluten free bread, cereal or deserts - although there was plenty of options available from the buffet for her to pick and these were clearly marked for allergens. The on site restaurant were great - definitely book the Greek one (Elea) - I’m never normally impressed by them as it always feels like they get stuff from the main buffet restaurant but these were not. I had the Lamb Kleftiko which was so good. If you need to travel up to the other part of the hotel (Residences) for the restaurant or other pool there’s a buggy guy waiting out front to take you up at any point you needed it! He was very polite & friendly. Drinks and cocktails were really good either from the outdoor bars or the main hotel bar. I particularly enjoyed the Cuba Libre. Evening entertainment was really good too. You had options to either attend something put on by the entertainment team (quiz/karaoke) by the Amos beach bar or go to see one in the main bar by outside entertainment. Rooms were always cleaned daily without fail & fresh towels if you wanted - with bottled water replenished daily. Housekeeping were brilliant & so friendly. Beds were super comfortable. The shower did leak onto the floor a bit but that didn’t bother us, nothing a towel can’t fix. Kardamena is only a 5-10 minute taxi costing €8-11. Or there is a bus stop outside the hotel costing €2 but we never used the bus. You can hire buggy’s onsite, which we hired a 4 seater beach buggy for the day to explore the island - definitely recommend. All in all, this is a fantastic hotel with picturesque views & great staff. Would definitely return.

I am staying in the resort area, it was very plush...sun beds were very comfy, breakfast was lovely. Pool very clean and bars nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. I had a treatment at the spa with Georgia full body massage which was very relaxing! All recommended!
