Very friendly hotel cleen and tydy lots for families to do and a quite area for adults only pool included. food plenty to choose from and lots to drink with it. Staff couldnt do enough for you. Very welcoming on arrivel and check out was just as friendly. As it was mine and my husbands birthdays and wedding anervarcery we each got a bottle off champain which went down a treat. Will defa come back

I was racially abused verbally by a drunk guest in the entertainment area of the hotel, and the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. Before this incident, I had already seen the same individual behaving aggressively in the Greek restaurant—he was stumbling, swearing, and telling other guests to "F off." Despite this, nothing was done, and he continued to be served alcohol. Later, he directed racial abuse toward me, including repeatedly using the N-word, and I was also laughed at by two women present. I asked staff for support and requested that all three individuals be removed. It then took approximately 30 minutes for “security” to arrive. When they did, it was just two men dressed in black with no clear identification or protective presence. What made the situation worse was that they expected me to mediate directly with the people who had just abused me, which was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. Meanwhile, the man continued drinking, and I even saw him run away from security afterward. The following morning, I discovered that one of the security staff members (Chris) was also working as a lifeguard. This raised serious concerns about where proper security coverage is during the day. I had to personally initiate a meeting with the operations manager, Petros, to discuss the incident. Unfortunately, he handled the situation very poorly. He stated that the hotel “cannot remove guests” even when they are using racial slurs and advised me to call the police if I had an issue. This is unacceptable, especially in a family hotel where children and other guests had to witness this behaviour. He also attempted to shift blame onto the entertainment team, who in my view were the only staff members who tried to assist within their limited capacity. On top of that, Petros denied that reception had been informed, despite the fact that another family had reported the incident to them. I am extremely disgusted and disappointed with how this entire situation was handled. No guest should feel unsafe or unsupported, especially when faced with such serious abuse. If you are travelling with family, particularly if you are Black, I would strongly reconsider staying here, as I did not feel safe.

AMAZING BLUE LAGOON RESORT, LAMBI, KOS My wife and I always travel together, other than the occasional trip with good friends. My wife is my registered carer . I am a disabled traveller confined to an electric wheelchair. We booked a (first time of doing ) late deal through TUI for a week at Blue Lagoon Resort , Lambi Kos , approximately 22 km from Kos International Airport Ippokratis (KGS) 2 Km from the centre of Kos Town . This was our very first Time on Any Greek Island . We were not at all disappointed. Especially with this resort. The Blue Lagoon Resort turned out to be absolutely amazing in every way . On arrival:- first impressions Very Clean , very pleasantly presented, welcoming , very spacious entrance / reception via ramps . The reception desk , which was so large and again welcoming. Very friendly staff always greeting with big smiles. We Booked in , it was such a smooth, easy , friendly experience. We were given 2 Electronic door keys ( for an accessible room on block 3 and 2 towel cards to exchange for 2 lounger towels. Our cases and other luggage was put on a big golf buggy like vehicle along with my wife , I followed behind in my electric wheelchair. Within minutes we had arrived at our room . It was very spacious throughout although the buggy driver had to move furniture near the entrance door to enable myself to enter into the bedroom. I must add that these plentiful vehicles are at your disposal anytime to go where ever you want to go around the vast grounds. After he left it became apparent that I was going to struggle around the room and also on inspection of the large walk in shower that the floor was slippery when wet . so I decided to approach the guest relations manager the next morning as it was late afternoon and the office was closed . leaving unpacking of the cases as we were hungry , and wanted to have a look around the resort . The food was delicious, a buffet style restaurant with so many varieties and choices , all cooked meats , fish , salads , rice , fries , pasta dishes, pizza the list goes on . There are also specialty restaurants on the resort , we loved and recommend the Chinese restaurant, absolutely delicious. Others include Mexican theme , Italian , oriental , Greek , etc all of which need advance booking via the hotel/ resort App which you can download after obtaining special code for WiFi. The next day when the office opened , I approached it . I spoke to Linda , what a fantastic lady , she was lovely , very approachable and professional in every way, She was very good at her job and soon got things in motion to arrange the 2 pieces of furniture in question be removed out of room altogether. Linda also immediately had a big anti slip shower mat delivered. Everything sorted so satisfactory, we unpacked our cases in anticipation of what this very large resort had to offer . Everywhere was so clean , the manicured grounds so lush with hedged pathways throughout beautiful colourful shrubs, trees, palms of all sizes and varieties , cacti scattered around vast areas . The main pool was massive with a bridge over the full width of it , one end leading to the reception , Nisos restaurant and bars .The other leading to the main buffet restaurant and the Entertainment Theatre . We found it so easy to negotiate all of the grounds to get to all various amenities , services and facilities. The entertainment team were astoundingly brilliant, the children , adults were entertained everyday with many various activities and competitions. All the shows they produced were amazing performances, some were top cruise ship quality . The producers, choreography, dance compositions, dance arrangements. The vocals were outstanding . Costumes were faultless and realistic. We absolutely loved this holiday and the place we booked “Blue Lagoon Resort “ KOS made it so very special and enjoyable to the extent that we are booking to return in September . These people that stipulate having a bad experience here , honestly how , why , do not understand this at all In our honest experience of BLR KOS is that it’s very good, special place , very friendly people, management, staff It’s absolutely top notch. Perfect resort for all .

Blue Lagoon Resort Kos – 11 Night Stay We arrived at the resort late, around 11:00–11:30pm, and unfortunately two full buses arrived at the same time. Reception staff seemed very rushed and eager to get everyone checked in quickly. Very little information was given — not even directions to our room other than pointing at a map. Thankfully, the cart drivers were brilliant. One driver took us to our room, which initially felt very far from reception (although we later realised it wasn’t too bad). He even helped carry our suitcases upstairs while my partner looked after our toddlers. We stayed in a 2-bedroom family suite with garden view in building 9000. The room was clean and tidy overall. The only issue we had was the key cards constantly stopping working — this happened four times during our stay. Because our room was quite far from reception, it became frustrating. You can ask the piano bar staff to contact reception for replacement key cards, but one staff member didn’t seem interested in helping. Another lady there was very helpful, but unfortunately couldn’t get through to reception. In the end, it was easier just walking back and forth ourselves. We were told to keep the cards away from phones, but they still seemed to stop working anyway. Breakfast wasn’t great, but there are enough options to find something acceptable. Lunch options were similar — most food was lukewarm at best. The pizzas were probably the best daytime option as fresh ones regularly came out. Evening meals were the biggest disappointment for us, especially after reading such positive reviews beforehand. We found that if there was a large queue somewhere, that was usually where the best food was. Desserts, however, were very good with plenty of variety. The pools are great overall, but on the main hotel grounds they seem better suited for older children. Even the children’s pirate ship pools felt quite deep for toddlers. The waterpark pool was much better for younger children as it was only 1 foot deep. The lazy river was disappointing though, as it’s just a very small circle. The waterpark area also had the best daytime snacks, and the crepes there were much nicer than the ones at the main pool as they use actual melted chocolate. The resort is advertised as beachfront with private loungers available to rent for €2.50 per day, along with an all-inclusive beach bar. This sounded great, but when we walked down to the beach it looked abandoned and run down, which was a massive disappointment. It may be better later in the season, but it shouldn’t be advertised if it isn’t fully available to use. The onsite shop is extremely overpriced, but there is a supermarket and another shop just up the road. There’s also a bike/scooter/buggy hire shop near the hotel called Steve’s Bikes, which was reasonably priced. Taxis were also affordable and easy to get. We spent an afternoon and evening in Zia, which was lovely. The views are amazing and there are lots of small shops, restaurants, and ice cream stalls. We also went on the Captain Morgan pirate ship trip from the harbour, which is around a 30-minute walk from the hotel or about €9 by taxi. This was a fantastic day out and something I’d highly recommend. There are also several other boat trips and private boat rentals available at the harbour. We did have some issues during our stay which we raised with TUI, but unfortunately they were no help at all, so we eventually gave up trying. Overall, we still made the most of our holiday, and our children enjoyed, but sadly we wouldn’t return. The hotel is advertised as 5-star, but based on other 5-star hotels we’ve visited previously, we personally wouldn’t rate it as such.

The location of the resort is great, its local to Kos town but is definitely let down by the lack of information. There’s restaurants that are free to eat but no one tells you this the communication from reception is shocking. On going into our room we expected 3 beds and there was only two, we requested the travel cot to be taken out and it took them 3 days to do so, we had a baby so booked a family room and the bath didn’t work, the plug had been pulled out and didn’t hold water, they got someone out to it eventually after having to call multiple times but the issue was still not resolved and having to bath an infant in the sink. On two occasions two separate items were stolen from our room, a pair of pyjamas that took them 3 days to return to us then they came back filthy and stinking of cigarettes (none of us smoke) and a pair of airpods which was then found stuffed under the mattress? The food at the buffet was always cold and there wasn’t many options it was all pizza pasta and pork every night, the themed nights were no different. We all ended up with bad belly’s from the food towards the end of the week and having to survive from chips. Come to checkout and they refused to let us have late checkout and said there was no other room we could book for the day as we had a baby (there’s over 9000 rooms and there was definitely not that many people) reception advised we could sterilise and wash the baby’s bottles downstairs but they were wanting €20 and gave me a plug in steriliser? that i can’t use in reception lobby? the staff were no help and refused to report the missing items in the book we were having to go and confront them to reception, spent most the holiday dealing with reception over chilling out. Also when walking back to our room we caught two cleaners going through someone’s clothes in the room and laughing about the items, there were suitcases and lots of things in the room so the people weren't checked out the cleaners had just helped themselves. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all considering we all paid over £1000 each for this is was shocking and the worst experience i’ve had.
