Blue Lagoon Resort

Our room was perfectly clean when we arrived and the daily visits of housekeeping kept it that way during our stay! We had plenty of storage room in our family room and the beds are very comfortable! Airconditioning working fine and the walls are thick enough to avoid noise from other rooms coming through. Activiteiten in de buurt Kos City is only 3-4 kilometres away. A taxi ride costs 9€ or you can take the bus for 2€ or you can rent a bike, quad, scooter, buggy,.... we also rented a car for 1 day to discover the rest of the island. Zia, Mastichari and Plaka Forest (with paws you can easily feed!!) were our favourites. Boat trips to other islands or to Bodrum at the other side are also easy aq they're all starting from the harbour of Kos City. Camera security and guarded access to the resort. Absolutely nothing to worry about in the area. You are on the beach in no time and the road before the hotel is broad and it has a comfortable separate bike path. As it would be inevitable to forget some of the dining options I suggest you check out the website of the hotel. You can eat and drink from 7 am until very late in the evening but please don't start in overdrive as you won't keep it up until the end of your stay. From pancakes to tzatziki and from tomato soup to Chinese food... you'll be able to eat it all! We stayed in the annex part of the hotel which is like a hotel of its own too as we could eat breakfast in that part, had the Italian restaurant close by and also both the snack bar for lunch and the piano bar for drinks... (and cake 😇). It also has 2 swimming pools and a pool with slides for little ones. Want to go to the aqua park or main pool/restaurant? 95% of the time a golf cart will get you there after waiting less then 5 minutes

A brilliant hotel. The food is amazing and im not sure how anyone can companies there is various choice (see photos). The pools are spacious with plenty of sunbeds we were in block 9000 so used the kids pool there and the kids pirate pool both great with onside bar. The water park was good with lazy Iver and slides which also had food and a bar. All the staff were great and could not be more helpful The only negatives were the entertainment was poor the main night was the Disney show but it didn't start till 9:45 which was too late for my 3 year old and even one of my 8 year olds was nodding off but it was a good show. The hotel is a 4* pluse but with the entertainment and paying for safe it falls short of 5 star.

We’ve had an amazing holiday at the Blue Lagoon Resort. There are 4 restaurants and each restaurant offeres different food - greek, italian, mediterranean and mixed. You need to download an app at the hotel to book the table and it also tells you what is happening at the hotel every day. The food was really nice. There is one very big pool, one slightly smaller pool for kids and waterpark. Kids club runs every day and they are very good so plenty to do for kids. The hotel itself is very clean but our room wasn’t hence the 4* review. It was very dated, shower was getting cold and hot, there were hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived and there was mould on the ceiling above the shower. Table and chairs on the balcony were also dirty. Definately not upto 5*, more like 3*. Staff was very nice and always trying their best to help. Evening Entertainment - WOW!!! They were phenomenal! We loved going to watch them every night. The Disney night was our favourite! Another contribution to 4* review are cockerels!! They have few running free on the resort and they were waking us up from 4am upwards which was very frustrating! Overall we enjoyed our stay so I would recommend it

5* ?? MORE LIKE 1* AWFUL RESORT DO NOT VISIT Did not visit out of choice but here to attended an event. Awful from start to finish. Staff unhelpful and rude. Rooms and resort dirty and unhygienic. Atmosphere is chav central. Extremely overpriced for what you receive.
