Blue Lagoon Village

I have just came back from my second trip of the season, and will also be returning with family and friends later this year….. which says it all really!!! This will have probably been my 20th visit to this hotel since 2011 and it never disappoints. The staff feel like old friends and the place is as spotless as it was in 2011. The food this year I thought was excellent, as did my friends, and the wine very tasty too! We enjoyed lunch at both the Aegean and Mythos restaurants and my favourite spot for lunch is The Ocean restaurant, which we went to every day, sometimes sitting there, enjoying the food, wine and view for hours. We did the day trip with Zeus Superior Cruises, which I have done a good few times now, and can well recommend. The boat picks you up from the hotel beach, so no need for a transfer anywhere and it only takes 12 people, so it feels very exclusive. There are three great stops (including Kastri island with the little church) and a delicious lunch and we were looked after by the lovely Hannah and of course Captain George. Until next time BLV….

AMAZING PLACE!!! I don’t normally leave reviews but this places absolutely deserves it! This was our second time visiting and it’s perfect. We traveled with a 18month,4 and 7 year old and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I love that we can come down to the pool at 9:30/10 and still get sunbeds there is no rush to get towels down at silly o clock - even in the afternoon there’s still beds available! We stayed in a 2 bedroom family room - lovely clean and spacious!! If you have kids I wouldn’t suggest the bbq restaurant it’s a nightmare as you cook your food yourself with 3 hungry children you could imagine how it went haha. We went to the Italian and Chinese both were lovely I would recommend. Transfers are 15mins don’t bother with private ones as it’s not far. Omelette man is lovely and always remembered my boys orders and the omelette’s were lovely and made in front of you. The shows in the evenings was brilliant we enjoyed every show - they are all very talented! The hotel is kept so clean, all the staff are SO lovely and helpful. The entertainment team are brilliant special mention to MIGUEL aka Micheal Jackson my son was amazed by him and has not stopped talking about him, very talented and so friendly and always took his time to do the moonwalk with my little one. We will 10000% be returning for our 3rd visit next year (fingers crossed Miguel is still there or we will have one sad little boy). Honestly I couldn’t fault this hotel in any way Thankyou for making our holiday perfect in every way! See you next year :)

We have just returned from our 3rd holiday at Blue Lagoon Village, and once again it has been everything we hoped for and more. This truly is our happy place. As a family, we absolutely love coming here and creating memories together. We have two children aged 6 and 10, and they love everything about Blue Lagoon Village, the pools, kids’ club, kids’ disco and all the amazing entertainment. The children love the dances so much that they still listen to the playlist at home and dance along, bringing a little piece of our holiday back with us. Every year we visit, the children come home full of stories about all the fun they’ve had and are already asking when we can return. The staff are a huge part of what makes this place so special. Everyone is always friendly, smiling and willing to go the extra mile to make sure guests have the best stay. For us, Blue Lagoon Village is more than just a holiday destination. My son can sometimes find it difficult to manage his emotions and self-regulate, but when we are here he is calm, happy and able to fully enjoy himself — which makes such a difference to our family holiday. We are all so happy when we are here. It’s our favourite place to be together, relax, have fun and create beautiful memories that we will treasure forever. We arrived home yesterday from blue lagoon village in Kos and i cant wait to rave about this place. Honestly - the best hotel we have ever stayed in.  The staff - incredible. Everyone is so friendly and cant do enough for you, always smiling and work incredibly hard. They are professional and go above and beyond in their roles. A few i would like to mention, are, Kitsa - waitress in Mythos, she is so kind, patient, endearing and hardworking. Vincent - service with a smile! We were always made welcome by vincent and he treated us like royalty, i hope one day he is manager, he deserves it and Tawfik - what a funny, likeable and amazing man! Always smiling, always entertaining, he is a unique member of the team! There were so many others but we didnt catch everyones names. I cannot express how amazing everyone is, from cleaning staff, who keep the entire place spotless and instagram ready to the entertainment staff, the bar staff, the lifeguards, the waiters, the restuarant staff, admin, buggy drivers, tui reps....everyone involved in the running of this hotel is simply amazing and put the guests first and at the very heart of everything they do.  Cats - If youre an animal lover you will love it. The cats are friendly and well looked after, they roam freely but are not a bother at all. Our boys loved seeing them around the complex. We genuinly loved seeing them around. Adventure land - brilliant. A good range of slides from ages 3 - 10 years old.  Plenty more to do, football, mini golf, tennis etc  Pools - wow! Just wow! Every pool has its own bar for drinks and snacks.  The main pool hosts lots of daily activities, music etc which is brilliant. Theres always something going on.  Food - the best all inclusice hotel we have eaten at. We had prepared ourselves for the lack of variety from past experiences at other all inclusive hotels but we were pleasantly surprised every day.  There is the main aegan restuarant and another one, mythos. They both supply a wide vareity of food, there will always be something you can eat and the chefs and staff are very accomodating, so if you have any allergies or dietry requirements, speak to the staff, i can guarentee they would do all they can to accomodate you.  We also ate at the bbq adventure restuarant, the piazza italian and our ultimate favourite, The Golden Sun Chinese. All three were unique and had something different to offer but always the same high quality service.  We booked the restuarants when we arrived and there were plenty of slots available.  Places of interest - paradise beach, what an amazing beach.  Kos old town - gorgeous town, plenty to see and do. Kos old town is a must! Free parking in 3 main carparks. Use your sat nav to reach kos old town, 5 min walk if you go the right way.  Therma Beach - wow! One of my favourite experiences.  Cavos - there is a swing in the ocean, great for photos. The harbour/port is great, lots of boat trips available. We did the glass bottom boat trip stopping on the island with St Nikolas' chapel, followed by 2 swim stops.  Car hire - we hired a car for two days €140 full insurance, it was dropped off at the hotel, we booked this via Tui. There is also an independent car hire place on the resort for price comparison.  We have been home less than 24 hours and already looking at booking to return next year.
